Sony and X-Box don't bring the idea of videogames to my mind, as was said in another forum here Sony you think of music players and other tech and with X-Box you think more of computers and other things. Nintendo has always been around and possibly will always be there. It beat out Atari, Sega, Turbographix, Neo Geo and kept going strong. When I think of Nintendo I think of videogames. Period.

Well technically sega actually won the 16 bit wars and owned 60 something percent of the market but then they released the sega cd and the 32x and that kind of ended the war because it was technically next generation, but then sega lost their foothold and Nintendo came on top.

And not everyone here is doing that. I'm fairly certain that a lot of the people here saying things that aren't exactly nice do actually like Nintendo. I won't speak for everyone, of course, but it seems to me like people are simply being critical, which I don't see a problem with.
Anyways, best word I could use would be "cautious", since they're always playing it safe.
