Topic: Game vs. Game

It's just a hard thing to vote on, cause they're all such great games. :3
but if you want to see a slow one, do fire emblem vs fire emblem.

I unfortunately haven't played KRTD, though I want to get it, so I can't vote. But I will say, Kirby's Epic Yarn is one of my very favorite Wii games. It's one of the most creative games I've ever played.

Just count that ^ as a vote for Epic Yarn and move on, Eeman.

Kid Icarus for NES and Uprising were awesome, but more is neede to compete with Metroid.

As a series, metroid.
Icarus went dormant for a looooooong time.

Metroid. It isn't even a contest. Kid Icarus has had 3 games, and though they're good, they can't compare to the quality and legacy Metroid has left.

In Kid Icarus's defense, Metroid hasn't had a bunch of games either. While more, they aren't as frequent as let's say Mario or Zelda. Although I agree Kid Icarus having only three games probably makes an influence. People could still just like it better over Metroid.

And in Metroid's defense, pretty much all of its games are better than Kid Icarus' games anyway. Super Metroid, the GBA games, and the Prime games. On Kid Icarus, you have a good NES game, a decent Gameboy game, and a great 3DS game.

Why? Kid Icarus: Uprising is one of the best damn games I have ever played. I do not care how consistent Metroid was or about the control issues with KIU; that game is the reason why I play video games.

But this is series vs series, not game vs game. This is talking about the series as a whole. :3

@Happy_Mask, while it is Series vs. Series, if Uprising is what makes @V8_Ninja like Kid Icarus better that's just fine.
I voted for Metroid because I love Metroid Prime, I haven't played any of the others in the series.

@moomoo, I agree on the quality of the games, hence my vote for Metroid. My argument was simply that, its not a vote on which series has more games, that means nothing.

Kid Icarus, purely thanks to Uprising.
Metroid's a great series, but for me Uprising beats all the Metroid games combined.

Even though Uprising is amazing, Metroid just has a tonne more great games. Super Metroid? Prime Trilogy? You can't really argue with that.

yeah I like Uprising more than all but 2 Metroid games (Super and Prime 1) but...there's only 2 other Kid Icarus games. One of which I don't like, the other of which I never played.
