Pretty good fan made project. The new playable demo is up. It's got a few issues but is pretty good.

The recommended system requirements to fully enjoy Sonic 2 HD:
OS Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64bit
CPU Intel Core i5 2500
GeForce GTX 650 1GB
4GB RAM
400MB of disk space

Seen some people complain of performace issues but I have an FX-8350, RX480 and 16 gigs of ram and it runs smooth for me.
