Topic: Post your favorite Nintendo Power covers

Because Nintendo Power has just finished their last issue I thought it would be cool if everyone posted their favorite memories of their covers.

I wish I could but my mom threw out all of my issues.

I especially like the Sonic cover. Its kinda funny cause who during the 16 bit era would have thought that one day Sonic would be on a cover of NP.

I love the 250th issue

This is the subscriber addition of the 250th. This is the one that I got. It was also the first issue that has me as one of the newsletters!

That is so sweet though! For a second I thought it was one of the first issues of Nintendo Power before they became Nintendo Power. I forgot what they were called... hmm

I've been looking on Google for the past 20 minutes for that issue on the left! That is one of my all-time favorites! They had like 20 some pages on the best of the best NES games

This was my first subscribed issue and also the issue that got me hooked on one of my all-time favorite videogames ever Super Mario Galaxy!!!

So on a side note, I was looking at the Wikipedia article for Nintendo Power to see if they had a list of issues or anything, and found something weird.
Under the "controversy" section, there is a ton of made-up information. Some of it is actually quite funny, but I'm still confused.

More than 75% those aren't true. the first one about the severed head is haha. actually @ogo79 has that cover on this page. Although the parent comlaints weren't about gay or anything, it was about it being to violent
