Its like any 2D Zelda, like LTTP. Its a bit short, but there are many sidequests to keep you occupied. And the cap on your head talks, a lot. [Warning: There are missables in this game. ]
I just ordered Minish Cap from Amazon. I've never played it before. What's it like?
I really enjoyed the game. Without giving any spoilers, the shrinking aspect was really neat and provided some great puzzles. The game was short but every second was enjoyable. (Ok, there are a couple of side-quests that felt too long/random for my preference... but if that's the biggest complaint then I should be thrilled, right?)
Minish Cap is probably the most under-appreciated Zelda in my opinion -- even being forgotten by many people. That's unfortunate because it's a solid adventure.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Yeah, I was getting bored with LOZ, ST, and ALTTP, so I deceided to get this for a change for a change of pace. Considering that I have trouble with Zelda games no matter what, it shouldn't be as short for me.

Post back after you start playing to share your impressions. The start of the game is a little bit slow, but it's still maybe the most charming Zelda title I remember playing.
If you have a GBA or Game Boy Player, then you should also try playing Link's Awakening DX sometime. It's shocking how good that game still is, and despite a few weird parts it is also worth playing.

The game should come within a week. I'll let you know then.
Sadly, I sold my GBA when I got my DS, believing the DS would play any Game Boy game. I then sold all my Game Boy Color games. Fortunately, my sister still has her GBA, so I could pick it up for nostalgia reasons.

It's a gorgeous but rather short and traditional Zelda game that doesn't try much new stuff. Still, it does have lots of charm and it's definitely one of the finest GBA games.
In the US version, whenever you continue a saved game, as soon as the action starts, the game automatically presses the "talk to Ezlo (the talking hat guy)" button for you. (whereas the Japanese and EU versions just leave Link standing there, waiting for you to control him)
