Giratina because it is the mascot of my first Pokemon game. ( I got into the series late)

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I got into the series late too (Starting with R/S/E), and Giratina is my favorite as well.
