Topic: Banjo Kazooie N64 VS HD remake?

Hey everyone
I've played Banjo Kazooie and Tooie over at a friend's house in the past and loved it, so I wanna get my own copy in the future.
My question is, which one do you think is the best version - N64 or Xbox Live remake? (I currently don't own a N64 or Xbox 360 and thinking of getting one of those in the future) I also wanna play Conker's BFD and I know the Xbox has a remake of that as well
I know that the Xbox version of BK & T actually saves the number of notes you have collected after quitting the level so you don't have to do it all over again, however, I'm worried about the BK & T remake being a digital download only while Xbox 360 is supposed to be supported until 2015, so this means that if I buy a Xbox 360 after 2015, I won't be able to buy the remakes as Xbox Live for 360 will be shut down?
Thanks in advance

XBOX 360. Has alot of games. And if you like the remake, get Banjo and Kazoozie: Nuts and Bolts.

Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.

Yoshi

I have no idea which version is superior.

Xbox Live for Xbox 360 is not being discontinued in 2015, and when they discontinue it, they'll most likely keep the Marketplace open just like the Wii Shop Channel.

Nuts and Bolts is a good game. It's just not a good B&K game. IDK there really isn't much of a difference between the 2 versions. Banjo Kazooie saves your notes and you can do the secret eggs thing no but that's pretty much it. Banjo Tooie is much more intact. I'd say go for the Xbox version it'll be a lot easier to get.

As someone who grew up with the N64 version, the Xbox version is just better. I mean, granted, outside of one or two parts towards the end that EVERYONE hates, losing notes is a non-issue for me at this point, so I can't comment on that too much. But it just looks better and plays better (for FPS reasons, YMMV for controls). I haven't tried the Xbox Tooie yet but that has to be a HUGE upgrade because Tooie had some really bad slowdown at points.

Plus for Conker BFD get Conker: Live & Reloaded on XBox as it's the same game (i.e. remake) for the most part

Homer: "Oh people can come up with statistics to prove anything Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that."

They sell both remakes on Xbox Live, which most assuredly will be supported for years to come, in a bundle for the same price they went for individually when they were first released on the 360. Excellent deal these days although I still wish Microsoft would release a Rare XBLA compilation disc with both of these and Perfect Dark.
