I already have one. Instead of saying Good, i should have said "many". Or both. Anyway, the best system to play jrpgs is NDS. 20? Japanese imports? Im not a big fan of Atelier/WKC series though...
One of two Japanese imports. But of the ones in English (let's see if I remember them all... haven't got my collection in front of me right now)
Yakuza 4 White Knight Chronicles 2 Resonance of Fate Star Ocean 4 Nier Final Fantasy XIII Final Fantasy XIII-2 Atelier Rorona (seriously, you don't like these games, but you like JRPGs? How does that work?) Atelier Totori Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel Hyperdimension Neptunia Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 Demon's Souls Dark Souls Eternal Rings
I'm sure there are more. I'll check when I get home.
Atelier Rorono isn't like most conventional JRPGs, and it's a pretty big step down from its predecessors on the PS2, which are more conventional. Totori seems to be the one that brings the series up to greatness, though, but I haven't gotten it yet.
Like he said, the best platform for JRPGs is the NDS. For every one PS3 RPG you listed, I can name 5 more for the DS. I'll bet many of them are better than most of the PS3 games you mentioned, too.
Even more variance of well-polished games/ something for everyone to play
Lastly, bring something new to the table for each platform (in terms of retail and AAA games) . Nintendo will likely price games at $60 and I feel like video gaming has stagnated a little as of recent times.
i reall would love region locking to go away, i would also like some challenging games especially rpgs. most rpgs seem to be too easy i really love the SMT series because it is so difficult. theres no need to grind levels just adjust tacticts and demons. as for specific consoles i want to see more variety in nintendos IPs; maybe some brand new or revivals. From Sony and xbox i dont really know i haven't played much of them in the current gen, but i think the same things i said about nintendo applies.
