I think that the Vita's sales will improve once it comes over to NA and UK. I'm almost certain that the reason it hasn't sold epicly in Japan is because, so far, there is no promise for Monster Hunter.

As for the Ambassador Program, I don't think Sony would ever do something like that. Maybe I'm wrong, but from past experience with Sony products, an Ambassador Program would be insane.

Then again, maybe sales will just go steady because of the high price and not included memory sticks.

I hope that the Vita is as much of a success as the 3DS. I'm not planning on getting a Vita, but hey, everyone loves a good fight.

I seriously agree that the PS Vita's price point and lack of bundled memory cards and the mildly expensive prices of the memory cards has really stunted the success that PS Vita could and should be having. I only wonder if Sony is willing to give PS Vita price cut in the United Kingdom and North America or are they going to trying to hold out instead?

They were saying that so far it seems that MHTriG won't be localized. But it's not a console-seller in the west, so I don't really follow what they were saying either.

Well guys I got my Wii new but I'm mostly ticked off with the waggle gaming crap. I believe in REAL button based gaming not the cheesy waggle party games. I like killer graphics and all of that.

@Pixelman, I got a real tickle reading your above post. However, I must say that my 3DS is totally hot as I'm loving the 3D effect be it gimmikcy or not. I love playing Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land is just a blane charm to play. I've even got my sister hooked on SM3DL and she originally disdained the game weirdly.

Truly, I think the PS3 is the king of REAL HD gaming. Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction, ModNation Racers, Star Wars The Force Unleashed and inFamous are all a serious blast that it is hard to put em down. Nonetheless, I like the XBOX and Kinect with it's whimsical YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER style of game play as it is real catchy and groovy. I'm just hoping the WiiU proves to be just as exciting as the Wii was when I was first introduced to it.

With no expandable memory or an HDMI out, I'll never agree with that.

On a serious note though, the 3DS does indeed kick major butt. Super Mario 3D Land is absolutely stunning!

Anyone else the Vita is going to be killed by Launching so close to Ipad season. The 3DS didn't have this problem as it really only has one main feature which is to play games. The Vita However is being proposed like the PSP as a media device. I mean around that Time to get a fVita and everything it needs to work will be around the same cost as a refurbished or reduced price ipad 2.

I think everyone is overreacting. The Vita has only been out for less than a month, and already "analysts" are claiming it's dead.

They said the same thing about the 3DS, and look how much better it's sales have gotten since the price drop and a few Mario games came out.

Also, the PSP did relatively poorly (in terms of software sales), yet Sony still forged ahead with it's successor (the Vita).

The only game systems that were truly colossal failures worldwide were the Virtual Boy and 3DO. But it's best we all forget about them.

Also the PSP was a commerical failure everywhere but Japan. I honestly see the same thing happening too the Vita in the west. There's no way they are going to get away with not coming with a memory card or some form of onboard storage.

You had to buy a Memory Stick separate from a PSP too, yet the system managed to sell over 60 million units worldwide. It's the software that sold poorly, mostly because of piracy.

I didn't have a dog in this fight, but I do now. Down with the Vita! Up with the SEGA Game Gear 2!

It'll all be fine once Little Big Planet is out. That'll sell consoles in all territories.

I have to agree, I thought would have done horrible due to Sony's past experiences with PSP but, I was still right about it not coming close to 3DS.

As long as the level creator is easier to use than the PS3 one. With the Vita's touchscreens it should be a much simpler endeavor.

And I loved my iPod Touch, but my sister's (now ex) boyfriend kept bugging me to borrow it, so I just gave it to him. Then the bastard ended up dropping it and the screen cracked.

As for a phone, I absolutely hate my Sanyo Innuendo. It's possibly the worst phone I've ever used, constantly freezes, the web browser is crap, terrible speakers.
