Topic: Time To Bring The Thunder

Well folks Thor will be crashing into theaters around the world this week bring the thunder with him and you can do at the following link in all the old skool 8bit glory of yesteryear.

I played for about 30 seconds and came to the conclusion that it's a piece of crap. A jittery camera for something as basic as a 2D platformer? Unacceptable and amateurish. :/

Well, it seems like SOMEONE was a fan of 16-bit platformers. >_>

As for the game, it's barely on the edge of "OK". The platform physics feel floaty when anything besides jumping and landing on platforms is attempted. The small camera doesn't help either. Also, what little enemies I encountered were boring and predictable beyond the first two. Next!

Time to bring the Thunder? OK. Kevin Durant won't sing it. He'll bring it!

Oops, never mind. Different Thunder (but I got in an Oklahoma City Thunder reference... gotta represent fellow Sooners!).

Anyway, didn't any of you just find the game 'Thor: Bring The Thunder' enjoyable? I mean, it's just a promotional game. It's not like they had a lot riding on that game as the major Thor games are out on the Wii, XBOX and Nintendo DS. This 16-bit game was more of a just for fun kind of thing.

I've heard that was a horrible game (not surprising, licensed games tend to suck).

Actually I thought the platformer was kinda ok all things considered. I mean, it's no Cool Spot but it wasn't awful.

Kinda reminded of when I used to play those games on Cartoon Network's site.
