@Octane: My thing is, this PS4 NEO is likely to have its identity subsumed into that of the PS4 that's already out. This could cause Sony problems for trying to market it as "the new hotness" to consumers, especially if one or two competitive consoles come along with their own unique identities; a very real possibility if rumors are to be believed.
@MysteryMan23: That would only be true if they advertised it as a ''new system'', I don't think they will. The PS4 is already selling really well and they're in the position to just market it as the new ''slim'' version of the PS4 without any trouble. I don't think Microsoft will launch anything new this year, maybe a slim version of the XOne, but that's all but guaranteed at the moment. Nintendo will face the biggest challenge I think, especially if they're going to release a new system this year.
so i just pre ordered odin sphere leifthrasir, 1st ps4 game for me.
odd as its just a remake of an old game. thats how i roll.

@IceClimbers: @DefHalan:
Yeah. There's really no way of describing how slow that thing was though. I actually fired up the PS3 earlier today to play some of backlogged games and had to wait for an update. I would've thought Sony would be done with updates for it by now.
@ogo79: That game looks hype! I've had it pre ordered too. It's not a straight up port though, it has a number of great improvements and layout changes that make the game better, or so I've heard. Also it's beautiful, which is what sold me on it in the first place lol. I'm not a graphics monger, but wow!

Pre-ordered it as well. I missed the game on PS2 but Muramasa and Dragon's Crown were pretty bad a$$ so I'm guessing I'm in for a good time when I play Odinsphere.

@Gamer83: I've wanted to play those games for a while. I'd love for a PS4 port someday. I'll never be able to play Dragon's Crown because I sold my Ps3 to buy a Wii U. (Not a great idea.) Odinsphere will be my first Vanillaware game.

@ogo79: Art style is always more important than outright realism I always say. Unless you're Uncharted 4, then you can do that.

@NinjaWaddleDee: Indeed. I will always say that the worlds and characters in the likes of Okami, Wind Waker and Bloodborne are far more interesting to become immersed in rather than the average Ubisoft or Square-Enix game. London looks fine in Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Rise of the Tomb Raider was possibly even better graphically but they were as bland and uninspired as can be.
@NinjaWaddleDee: If you have the opportunity to nab a copy, Muramasa for Wii it's definitely worth it. Or if you have a Vita, the port is very well done and has some DLC which extends the story.
Alienation is AMAZING! It has been receiving very good reviews too. Those explosions are the best looking explosions in any explosive game I have seen. The pre-order dynamic theme is also pretty good.
Ratchet & Clank is so, so close to being my current Game of the Year. It has also sold extremely well in both the US (sold out for a week in Amazon) and has comfortably reached the number one spot here in the UK.
Street Fighter V now has over 4,000 registered applicants for the most popular fighting tournament in the world, EVO, which is a new record by a third (and counting).
