@Gamer83: It's been awkwardly silent around Gravity Rush 2 as well, apart from one or two Japanese streams from the devs. E3 is coming soon, so I'm not too worried yet.
@TheLastLugia: I haven't followed Persona, so I'm not sure what's going on there. If there's a countdown, I wouldn't expect a delay. Still, it's the generation of delays; If you're a game and you're not delayed, you're not cool enough it seems.
I'm still upset that PS4 Neo is happening. Kind of sucks since I got a PS4 late last year. Maybe Sony can do something special for users with the original PS4's. But this is Sony I'm talking about so I might be asking too much :/

@Peach64:
When I saw the rumor, the first thought was that Sucker Punch would be the perfect dev for a Spider-Man game. inFamous always seemed a bit like how I would want a Spider-Man game to play.
@Peek-a-boo: I think @YoKaiSergio151 is more concerned about the potential Hyrule Warriors Legends approach. I've seen nothing in the confirmed facts or rumours that prevents developers from making games that run extremely well on PS4K but barely playable on the standard PS4.
If the rumors are true, and the NX is slightly more powerful than the PS4, I'll just get an NX for all of my "midpoint gen" needs. After all, I'd rather have a new console, than one that I already own, but slightly better. It does make my kind of sad though, because this was the year that I started to get the most out of my PS4.
Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

@Grumblevolcano:
Developers and publisher want to sell their games, there are still 40 mil current PS4 users, many who won't get a PS4K, companies aren't going to just leave them in the cold. You may get an isolated incident here and there but before we even know all the facts people should calm down.
@Grumblevolcano: Thanks for clearing me up. @Peek-a-boo: I think PS4K can appeal to both sides as long as we get the same content. But because we don't know anything, it seems like PS4K is going to make PS4 obsolete. @Gamer83: Although I can bring up the New 3DS as an example, there are VERY limited advantages over the original 3DS(outside of SNES VC and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D). Sony might have tricks up their sleeve to make PS4K a great seller, while leaving original PS4 out in the dust.

@YoKaiSergio151:
The standard PS4 has sold 40 million units, unless the people at Sony are much dumber than I think, they're not going to leave all those people in the dust. I know this is a Nintendo fanboy/girl website and Sony is the Devil (MS is just as bad a company but seems to get a free pass around here that Sony doesn't which is hilarious) but how about we all wait for official news before flipping our sh*t? Until I see for myself that the current PS4 is obsolete I'm going to focus on real issues that exist now, like companies releasing half-a$$ed games like SF V and the fact that in 2016 I still don't have the option to use external harddrives on PS4 like I can Wii U and Xbox One.
In the end it looks to me like trying to keep parity between the PS4 and PS4k will hold the latter back big time. Those specs really don't blow the PS4 out of the water, and they couldn't afford to do that really. The fact that game devs will need to make their games playable on PS4 as a priority will be the main issue, if it goes beyond making a game look slightly more pretty, then that will be a can of worms well and truly opened that very few publishers will want to take. Rumours are already saying that a lot of 3rd parties aren't happy with this direction, due to the extra workload it requires.
And all this is from the company that basically took the PS Vita (as well as most of its other 'add-on' products to its main systems) behind a shed half a year after its launch and shot it dead, buried it and then hid away the shovel. I don't have confidence at all in Sony due to that.
But hey I'm broke so I'm glad it's very uninspiring!
I totally agree with this; the fact that exclusives won't be allowed for PS4 Neo, or even games with more than just graphical upgrades, really limits its potential. It also opens that the possibility that a competitor (like Nintendo for example ) could release a system with a competitive level of power, or worse, an even higher level of power, that also isn't bound by the same kind of restrictions as the PS4 Neo's, and thus is able to exploit its potential better. It wouldn't be too hard to make such a system look better than the PS4 Neo to consumers, even if it's 'only' competitive in terms of power; in that case, Sony would either have to loosen their restrictions (and thus risk angering those who didn't upgrade) or allow the Neo's true potential to remain unexplored (thus allowing people to become convinced of the Neo being weaker, whether it's true or not.)
Sony's going to have to walk an extremely thin tightrope to make this work out, and I'm not 100% certain they'll be able to; the PS4 is the one major system out of the last four they released (excluding variations of the same system) that didn't go wrong somehow. The PS3 cost $599 at launch and still lost money; the PSP, while certainly not without its virtues, was ultimately unable to steal the handheld market from Nintendo; and the Vita's success has been compared to the Wii U's. So, Sony's not guaranteed to pull off what they need to do to make the PS4 Neo work. What's more, if they really manage to screw up, they could push consumers right into their competitor's hands; and they might not be able to get them back this time.
I just want to be able to neatly organise my games due to the overwhelming number of PS+ games, along with half a dozen betas being jumbled up in the library along with the games I have purchased myself.
The PlayStation 3 had a wonderful folder system; just bring that over to the PlayStation 4 please.
I am now just going to patiently wait until all three new and improved consoles - the NX, PS4K and this upgraded Xbox One - before forming my own opinion thus making my mind up.
I'm happy playing both Dark Souls III and Ratchet & Clank to care about the future of home consoles.
@MysteryMan23: The PS4 NEO will be ''limited'' by the regular PS4 in terms of exclusives, not graphical power. The games can still look better on that system. Since technology has advanced far enough, I don't think there's a game that can't be made for PS4 due to hardware restrictions. Everything that's playable on a PS4 NEO, can be downscaled to be made playable on PS4. I don't think the limitations are as big as you think they are.
@Peek-a-boo:
Folders would be nice too. But external harddrive support tops my list. The only thing I'll say is that the space issue isn't as much of a nightmare as it would've been last gen because PS4 actually moves. The PS3 took forever to do updates, install games, etc.
@Octane: but you're finding the trees whilst missing the forest if you focus purely on the fact that the games can be played on PS4. My point is that as a $400-500 'new' product (heck even for $300 though I extremely doubt it will launch at that price) it is really uninspiring in what it provides. Just prettier graphics? As I say, it's really all that Sony could afford to do- because of the PS4. Its very existence is like a lead weight around Sony's proverbial neck now, at least in terms of pushing the Neo and making it worth anyone's $400. As it is, because of the 40 million PS4 owners, the Neo looks like only being a slightly more powerful PS4 that will make PS4 games prettier. Not worth my £400 for sure and not worth a lot of others' £400 either from what I've read. That is the main issue with it, the fact that PS4 Neo games will be compatible with the PS4 is not the Neo's saving grace, it is its curse. Unless graphics are the be-all-and-end-all for you then go crazy I guess.
And all this is compounded by looking at Sony's history with so-called 'add-ons' to their main systems, and heck even with the Vita you can include even main systems now. If this thing doesn't reach whatever goals Sony has for it immediately, I don't expect them to prioritise making it more appealing afterwards. They're more likely to just go back to what sells (the PS4) whilst announcing something else shiny and 'new' to keep hype and attention high for them. Because this has been Sony for well over a decade now.
The Neo IS a PS4 and from most reports it will be launching at the same price. I don't think they're main target market is PS4 owners. There's still plenty of people out there who have not upgraded to a new machine and this is their way of ensuring those that do will pick a PS4. This isn't the PS5 for goodness sake, it's the next model of the PS4.
@Peach64: doesn't undermine my main point that a lot of people are seemingly struggling to grasp that this could be so much more than what it is going to be if it didn't have to maintain some sort of parity with the PS4. If you want a console that has prettier games and 'newer' PS4 in general then this looks like being a cool thing but as a significant step forward? Doesn't look like it'll be worth all this hype.
@TheLastLugia: I don't think it was made with the intention to make the currest PS4 owners double dip. It's made for those who do not have a PS4 yet or those few who just want to best graphics possible and don't really mind double dipping. Sony has released improved models in the past, this one is just a little more capable than any of the other slim models were.
I also expect that the regular PS4 will get a price cut; they'll offer two systems this holiday; the regular PS4 that comes with the benefit of the lower price, or the NEO that will probably be around the PS4's launch price and will offer more up-to-date hardware. As long as the PS4 version of upcoming games doesn't run like an elephant in molasses, I don't see the problem with this hardware revision.
