I’ve been away from my PS5 for two months almost and Gran Turismo 7’s gotten two updates since. One added the Watkins Glen track (fun!) and the other added three new cars. I hope they start adding more tracks soon…

Still working on getting more subscribers to dethrone Aaron Black, the number 1 Youtuber in the game.

@GoombaKing64 Stray is also out on PC, and as someone who owns a PS5, PC exclusives like this (much as I appreciate them, especially when I haven't owned any Playstation consoles for decades until recent years) makes my PS5 feel kinda redundant. I'm probably gonna buy it on Steam since my PC gaming setup is where I'm most comfortable with, being able to relax in my gaming chair. But I think that regardless of what console you're comfortable playing your games on, just the ubiquity of PC owners means that a game being on PC is a safe bet that most gamers would probably buy it there instead since I'd imagine a lot more people own a computer (especially if they use the Internet) than a gaming device. Like, could you imagine surfing the web on the Playstation? It just feels so awkward.

that's the thing though, I don't have a high end gaming pc. I'm not in a place where I can buy one either. So I guess I will just sit and wait for a port or nothing then.

Fair enough, but I don't know how high-end Stray requires. It feels like a pretty small game with average 2022 graphics. I guess if your PC is many years behind, that does pose somewhat of a problem unless you're willing to turn down the graphic setting.

Welp got that Amazon invite to buy a PS5. Looks like I will be able to play Forspoken after all. Since the game got delayed my hype is mellowed but I am beyond looking forward to that game.

Nice! I got mine almost a month ago. I have a Vita, so not entirely new to Sony ecosystem, but it’s really cool to have access to two generations. I am really enjoying mine. It’s nice to be console agnostic…

@GoombaKing64 Stray runs fine on PS4 and PCs with old-ish GPUs, so I don't think it's particularly demanding. It'll probably come to Xbox next year, once the timed exclusivity period is up, I'm guessing.

I've finally tried Persona 5 about a month ago. It was buried in my backlog and was a PS Plus title. I liked it so much, I immediately paid for the PS5 Royal upgrade and have to say it has completly lived up to the hype. It's a difficult game to summarize as it's one part JRPG, social sim and visual novel. After playing for 40+ hours, it's about as close to perfect as games get for me. And as of now, I have no plans to upgrade to the PS5 version.

@Ralizah Stray runs well even on Steam Deck (I finished it on my Deck). It's not super demanding.

Wohoo my Playstation 2 arrived today. I want to play some games I missed and I think owning one is a must anyway. One of those is Dark Chronicle 2. I think I will add the Sly Cooper series soon. I am watching a longplay and I think the gameplay and artstyle look pretty good.

I started a few games today and I got this strange feeling of wow, like those games are real games. And I even got goosebumbs. Hard to describe. The intro to Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter is so good.

Well I am playing Shredders Revenge on Switch now and after this Dodgeball Academia and Luigis Mansion for the Gamecube. But then I will have time for my PS 2. As a gamer there is no waiting.

Sly Cooper 2 and 3 are great.
I played them on PS3 from HD Trilogy edition.

I was selected by Sony for a chance to buy a PS5 last month (I had totally forgotten I had signed up for this)... but I decided against it.

I just feel content with what I have right now, and I know I just wouldn't have all that much time to play it (at least not without giving up watching Netflix/Prime Video/Disney+/Hulu), which was the biggest factor.

Does anyone know if they keep you on the list, or would I have to re sign up? I'll get one eventually as my brother wants it for whenever the Avatar 2 game (blue people, not arrow head) releases.
