There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I am finally taking the time to play through Super Mario RPG! Haven't been a big RPG guy (Paper Mario was fun), and I've never gotten hardly anywhere in Mario RPG. I feel like I've got a decent start though. I have Mario and Mallow up to Level 9 and just got Geno on my team....does that sound ok??

]I probably would've said it too, had I played it. Sadly I've still yet to~ It's sitting nice and cozy on its shelf until that day comes though D:
You, sir, are a blasphemer. In fact, I am so aggrieved by your words that I am off to play Nier to clear my head.
So... thanks ^_^
You're welcome. I guess.
It's just that I bought it like a month ago, and I can't play too many RPGs at once or I'll end up not finishing any of them o_o Once I beat FFXIII-2 or something I'll get right on it
The gameplay looks and sounds pretty boring, though. If I ever pick it up, it'll be when it's super cheap.
It's a hack-and-slash JRPG with some screen-filling bosses.
Throw in a lot of homages to other genres (there's a short text-based adventure, there's a sidescrolling platform section, there's a haunted house with Resident Evil 1-style static cameras, there's even a bit of Harvest Moon-style farming), and it's a hack-and-slash JRPG that is also more creative than anything else in the genre.
I knew it had some variations in gameplay but I didn't know to what extent o_o
You name it, and it's probably in there. Some of the sections are more miss than hit, but the overall package is breathtaking in terms of sheer variety.
Variety is one thing, unfortunately, everything I've seen points it to not doing any of it very well. But I'm not gonna press the issue. I'll find out in a few years when I finally get ahold of it.

So Fable III came in the mail yesterday and i've been playing that since yesterday. All in all I love the fable Universe and that's what keep me playing compared to a more complex WRPG like Skyrim. The Art direction and writing are all superb and have a charmingly dark pre-tense to it all. Now the combat isn't for everyone as the 3 button combat system is a pretty big example of how the fable series is my first WRPG. I personally have been enjoying this and the overall upgrade system so far. Instead of leveling up through combat you get guild seal points for doing side quests and killing enemies. You then go into another universe and buy the upgrades foe these points. Its annoying that a few things are tied to this system and the overall structure of the game is a downgrade from Fable 2 imo.
So far I have been just leaving the game on while I do other stuff so i can spam gold from the real estate I own. Looking at wiki about the 2nd part of the game when you become king it appears picking all of the good choices pretty much leaves the kingdom with a weakened budget for defense during the end game.
WAT!
