Geez, Mickeymac you sure are desperate aren't you?
Some of the first announced PSP titles were RPG re-releases that really interested me. Suikoden 1 + 2 and Tales of Eternia. Unfortunately neither had western releases so my enthusiasm faded pretty quickly lol.
I bought a PSP 2000 around the 3000's launch for import games since the PSP is region free. There were a lot of PS2 and PSX remakes put on the PSP that I was able to pick up. Most of my collection consists of Japanese language games, though I do have a few English games too. But sadly, I don't use my PSP that much. I think my DS gets way more screen time.
Got any RPGs?
Pretty much ALL my PSP games are RPGs. ^^
I have.... Star Ocean: The First Departure [eng] Star Ocean: The Second Evolution [eng] Tales of Destiny 2 [jpn] Tales of Eternia [jpn] Tales of Rebirth [jpn] Tales of the World: RM [jpn]
The only non-RPG I have is Tales of VS, which is a fighting game.
I really want to get some of the PS One classics, such as FF7 and FF9. I'll have to work on building up my collection once I'm state side.

I didn't even realize Tales of Rebirth came out on the PSP. I'll have to import it, since it's relatively inexpensive on Play-Asia.

Are you saying that Tales of eternia for PSP has never been released in western countries? So, why i do have a pre-owned copy of this game that cost me 5€ in perfect english?

The same reason why you could pick up a copy of Breath of Fire III in a used store while I have to buy from a company in Hong Kong.

Eternia for the PSP was released in the PAL region, but not in the NA region. The Eternia you have for is a port of the PSX game that was released in the NA region.
@Mickey.... youre craving a new RPG and I just thought about it. Alundra and another great PSone RPG i cant think of the name of released last week and you have a PSP. Alundra is a cult classic!

I ended up Picking up Hexyz Force, in case anyone's wondering. A fine game with two different stories to chose from. I chose the girl for the helluvit. It's slow to start, but it's getting better, and I've quite enjoyed my time with it so far. The pacing is actually brisk (I only meant slow to start as in the gameplay starts off pretty simple and easy, the story moves pretty fast), which is quite a refresher from what I've been playing. I think I made the right choice with this one. It's exactly what I'm looking for.
I've been playing my PSP alot lately since I've found my charger, and to be honest I'm glad I got back into it. I've been playing an awe-inspiring game called Ridge Racer, and I must admit: it's the best racing game I've ever played. Perfect difficulty, solid controls, beautiful graphics with stunning lighting effects, fantastic level ideas, PHENOMENAL soundtrack, and great retro-bringbacks form this into an amazing racer.
Hearing the Pac-man theme remade to fit a techno track made me geek out hardcore, and seeing little details like the original Ridge Racer as a loading screen is fantastic. The other crazy thing about this game is that it's better in first-person. Personally, I hate first-person racing games, but I hate this game NOT being in first-person. With the first-person you get a better experience IMHO, and the third-person just can't match it. This game is great and I personally believe that it is one of Namco's best games, and one of the most epic racing games to ever grace a handheld system!
Sorry for the rant, but I felt this game deserved some appreciation.

I meant to get Ridge Racer when it first came out. I may get it somewhere down the line once I've completed the even more Phenominal Wipeout Pure!

Well, they both have an 88 on Metacritic, so let's come to the agreement that they're equally phenomenal.

I'm finally getting a PSP and I couldn't be more excited. I unfortunately missed out on the LBP bundle for $130 on Amazon a few days ago. I haven't been able to get the PSP out of my mind since then so I went ahead and ordered the God of War Ghost of Sparta bundle and Burnout Legends.
I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good case & screen protectors for the PSP 3000. Some good game recommendations are welcome as well.

Anyone get any of the Arc the Lad games off PSN? I got the first one awhile ago and it's AMAZING. I'm trying to beat the 50 floor dungeon before I get Arc 2 because it unlocks something special in that game. The annoying part is that you have to go down 50 floors and then go back up to get out. >_<
