Topic: Psn Sub Account Question

When I try to redeem the playstation card through my ps vita, it gives me the message,"You cannot perform this operation with your account (sub account)." If I redeem my Playstation Network card on my sub account via the ps3, will the cash transfer onto the same account on my ps vita?"

I don't anything about sub accounts, but I redeemed a card on my account on my PS3 and bought MHFU on my Vita.
