I finally got around to playing it, and it's pretty freaking great. I'm not sure if it's as good as the first one (like that matters), but the writing is still some of the best in the industry. If I ever see Stephen Merchant I'm going to give him a rib crushing bro-hug.

Just got it for 360 yesterday. Loving it so far. The difficulty is perfect: challenging, but not frustrating, and very satisfying. Well written, and it's nice to see a British voice actor with a significant part. It's a very unique game. My only complaint is that the pacing is a bit inconsistent. There are fifteen long, slow tests where there is no story progression, then suddenly the plot jumps forward, then we're back to doing more tests. Still fantastic, though.

No animals were harmed in the making of this post.

Well there kinda was. Much of it, from Glados insults to the "screw you" that happens many times in the 7th test to the surprise, was a classic example of a villian slowly torturing someone before they decide to actually kill them. The developer's commentary confirms this too.

meh, this game is too disorientating for me and they shouldn't have used levels, they should have made targets of where to go but, at least it's not another shooting game

You can buy Portal 2: the Final Hours on Steam. It's a behind the scenes digital book. Honestly, why should we have to BUY something like that?

@Xkhaoz3D I'm more surprised that they didn't realize the adopted insults sooner. I think within the first 2-3 hours GLaDOS starts insulting Chell about her adopted status, and those insults are FAR more worse then what Wheatley attempts to demoralize Chell with.

Does The Final Hours come with a download of "Want You Gone" by any chance? I know you can listen to it, but can you put it on your iPod?

No, just clips. For almost every piece of music in the Final Hours, there's an option to buy the songs/music on iTunes

The best part about that? One of them claims that the game touts itself as educational. Oh, and that it's a "kids" video game. Fantastic.
