I'm glad to see the developer's commentary is back. It was great in the Orange Box games and really showed just how much these people know how to make a good game.
Got to play it for all of ten minutes today at my aunt's house. 10 glorious minutes. Surprised it worked very well since it took a few days to download.

Why only 10 minutes? But at least it seems to run fine, right?
Leaving on a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania tomorrow morning, and had to pack and do other things to prepare.
My aunt's young kids were there, and Wheatley kept saying "bloody" and there were a bunch of references to death and such. I didn't want to get on her bad side, so I decided to wait until they were gone so I can experience Portal 2 in all its glory. Happy to be able to play it though. It runs great and is awesome.

Good to know that it runs well. 10 minutes is simply not long enough to witness it's EPICNESS.

It was really intresting listening to the commentary on the co-op side of things. When you finish the game you really should listen to it.

And can you go a little faster?!

Kinda sucks that you can't save your game though...well, I dunno how it works, haven't tried it yet. But I saw that part and didn't want to do it yet.

Keep it PG-13-ish.

@Swiket Awesome find. I just can't wait until Valve can get that SDK out there so that modders can make truly amazing stuff.

I just played Portal 2 on my laptop with a controller. Wow, no wonder so many people like using the mouse for aiming o.O It ran smoothly though, quite comfortable.
I played some Portal 2 at a Demo at Best Buy, and I have to say, I was impressed! Once I got my bearings from wherever the last person left off, I was able to enjoy leaping between portals. I once shot the portals in such a way that when I exited the portal I could see myself entering at the other end in the distance! That's really neat. Oh, and I love the humor. That little robot thing you save is hiilarious, love the accent.
y do peopel like portle so mutch????/ I playd 1 nd i thouth it wuz nuthin special.......
your excellent spelling and brilliantly explained points have truly changed my opinion of this game forever!
anyway, at least for a first time playthrough, this game is way longer than 5-6 hours. Since I suck at the later puzzles.
Were you talking about Portal 1 or 2? Portal 1 was pushing 3 hours even if a couple puzzles stump you for a minute...at least as far as I remember. First play of Portal 2 took significantly longer, though. I didn't count, but I probably spent 8 or 9. Great length considering the games though.

I had no trouble playing with a PS3 controller. Felt smooth and precise.

Yeah, I'm just not quite as used to it after playing via mouse/keyboard for so long. It was much more comfortable for moving around though.
