EDIT- @SilentJ - I hope you love Ys Seven....it has my vote for best handheld ARPG of all time. You might wanna check out Oath in Felghana as well (another Ys game--remake of Ys III) if you're in the mood for a smaller, more targetted, more difficult romp with amazing boss battles, although both games have amazing bosses in spades. Incredibly difficult series assuming you choose the highest difficulty option, and a really rewarding one as well!
Enslaved was GREAT! Everyone should get it....only had 2 glitches all game that necessitated a restart (chapter restart--game never froze) and I only found 3 different areas to be a bit of a bother from a design standpoint. Compared to most critically acclaimed titles of its type, that's a mighty solid game.
Something to keep in mind for you 3D TV people--the game has DLC called "Pigsy's Perfect 10" that adds a little multi-hour storyline and different playable character. The coolest part is that when you get this DLC, both the DLC and the game get patched to display in 3D in a variety of modes. If you have the better-than-cheap-red/green glasses that came with Arkham Asylum, it displays in that 3D type in addition to a standard red/green (I think) and legit-style super-expensive glasses and 3D TV set style. You can only display in 3D once you've bought the DLC though...personally I'm gonna wait for the inevitable half-priced sale at some point, at which time I'll be ready to give the game another play anyway!
It's truly a work of art though. The storyline was awesome--best "I'm on an adventure vs. the world" feeling I've gotten from any game...the story's really well-told and the atmosphere is great! I love post-apocalyptic worlds and super lush green overgrown USA is a pretty great setting for one.

Yup, supposed to be in 2011, set in the desert i think somewhere in the arabian peninsula where they are looking for a lost city (surprise!). Supposed to also focus on the relationship between Nate and Sully.
anyone else notice that in the new UNCHARTED 3 Pictures, Nathan Drake's head/face looks different....its like a bit fatter or squarer or older or something, but i dont like it. game will still be fantastic though
My opinion of Uncharted has already been stated, but I will say that Uncharted seems to be the game they've been wanting to make since Jak 2, and I'm glad they're fullfilling their vision. And since Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier is already out, I can't complain about them making a third Uncharted.
Gamestop had a "Buy 2 Get One Free" sale, so I picked up Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Mirror's Edge and 3D Dot Game Heroes. So far all three have been absolutely awesome. Uncharted is great, but definitely not as great as Uncharted 2. Mirror's Edge is awesome--can't believe how many mediocre reviews it got (although the story sequences are, indeed, awful) and 3D Dot Game Heroes is a Zelda fan's wet dream, not to mention it has one of the coolest visual styles I've seen in a game.
Three amazing games for like $30. Not too shabby!

Mirrors Edge is in fact on of the most underrated games out there. It is a permanent part of my gaming collection that I will never sell off. Beat it without firing a weapon the whole time and see how truly unique the game play style is.
@Strofan..... MAG is better online, but I enjoy Black Ops offline. Oh, at the main menu press the either L1/R1 or L2/R2 buttons back-and-forth rapidly and he will stand up, then walk back to the terminal in behind you and activate it and put in the letters DOA and you will enjoy what you find.

Everyone's on the Uncharted bandwagon now lol. Where was everyone when it first launched before they even implemented trophies? I beat it twice before they released them, then beat the original 4 more times once the trophy patch was released like a year later. Can't wait for 3, I've gotten 100% for each game thus far, I can't break the tradition now.

@mickey I would enjoy a Jak 4 as well, but Uncharted 3 is still at the top of my list. Actually i take that back KINGDOM HEARTS 3 is number 1 on my list
