Oh, you wanted a list of paid items only. No such thing that I know of.

I wasn't opted in for either of those and I still got the email, though.

Huh, I read an article that says you have to be opted in to get it, but apparently not lol.

Well, I was told during the sign-up process that I'll need to opt in for PlayStation Rewards to work properly. Maybe that's what they meant?

Oh, I thought you had gotten an invite to the rewards program too. I'm kind of glad to hear the trophy count and platinums aren't being taken into account for this as there is no way I'm ever catching up to you & Stuffy.

I too wish we had some kind of filter for our download history. It takes way too long to search for anything in all that mess. I ended up printing out a physical list so I could find things easier but it's still a pain in the butt. I even started using a separate PSN account specifically for demos so my main account doesn't get so cluttered. Just wish I'd thought of that from the get go.

@SilentJ: Looks like SOMEbody wasn't paying too much attention...

No WAY was I going to waste time replacing my PS3! That thing's far too much a part of my daily life at this point. I lost some save files, which sucks, but it could've been worse. I really wasn't too far along in too many games I haven't finished with...I guess I have my compulsive Trophy-collection completionist nature to thank for that one!

I DO have to dig around in my download history to get a bunch of games back, though...that sucks. Can't have everything, I guess.

Lol! It's definitely a good thing you've already completed a lot of your games. I wish some of that would rub off on me. It takes me forever just to finish one single game.

I find Trophies to be an EXCELLENT motivator. I did lose a good bit of Sonic Adventure progress and 100 hours of FFXIII...wince...but I can manage. Don't really have a choice, anyway. Extensive online research shows that there's literally NOTHING I can do at this point...for free, anyway. I could try a local repair shop to get it running just long enough to copy the data to my new PS3, but I'm not sure it's worth the cost. I'll probably just try to move on with what I've got. I was stuck in the post-game in FFXIII anyway, so it's not something I was guaranteed to get back to anyway...

@Stuff... hmm, I did opt in for Everything when signing up for PSN+. I dont know, I read that all PSN+ members were getting into the beta. Oh well lol.

Yeah, I do...haven't set it up yet, but I got it in the bundle, and I bought the last stand-alone Move controller they had along with it. Now I have two PS Eyes, so I guess I'll trade one of them back in soon...worth $10 at GameStop, and I can use whatever I can get at this point.

Whoever said all PS+ members were getting in didn't know what he was talking about. PS+ is a REQUIREMENT for the beta, but that doesn't mean it's the ONLY factor. Honestly, I don't have a darn clue how they picked us. I just know they called me one of the best, most loyal fans or some such when I signed up. Shrug

Well, I'm now taking this "opportunity" to refocus my gaming attentions to a smaller selection of titles. What this means is intentionally NOT downloading ALL of my games from my download history all at once. It may also mean I get to White Knight Chronicles faster, as I was originally putting that off because I wanted to finish with FFXIII first. So basically, I'm starting to get pretty comfortable with making the best of my situation...sure beats remaining upset, eh? I do fully intend to keep up with backing up my saves this time around...had to buy a thumb drive just for it, so I'd BETTER use it!

@smithers.... sorry I missed your message, my PS3 was either being played by my brother or was downloading as Im still doing a lot of that lately while playing my PS2.

Anyone go to Home lately? There is a lot of crap to do in there nowadays. Sodium One is a blast to play, the hovercraft shooter is a lot of fun and Ive dropped a few bucks at the Midway playing fair games a few times as well. Central Plaza is all Halloweened out and you can get a lot of free stuff there. Anyone up for it, try to take down my times at the Red Bull Air Race and Resistance Shooter!

@Turtle.... you really should. There is a LOT of stuff to do and its all updated weekly. Go to the cinema areas and you can watch all kinds of stuff including Tester instead of downloading it and tons of free games and stuff to do in there.

@Odd.... so how the heck do you distinguish if a online game of Resistance 2 is Ranked or Not. Ive played it a few hours online now and havent earned one dang XP of experience. Hell, I got nearly a 100 kills many times in a match and got nothing for it, there are no ranked matches from what Ive seen and I cant create them either.

You should level up during any match, if you search for ranked matches keep trying if you get "no matches found' . But as far as i know you should be leveling up..Or maybe its just co-op that lets you do level in unranked matches. Jcturtle played unranked matches with me, i wonder if he got any XP(co-op)

@slap i have not ever even opened home...always souned stupid and i dont want to pay for furniture and clothes and such

I visit Home every now and then. The Resistance shooter was fun but I haven't tried Sodium One yet. I'm going to check it out today for the free stuff.

Target has the buy 2 games, get 1 free deal this week. I was already planning on picking up Goldeneye so I might take advantage of this.
