Well, at least some of us got games that had some real ratings. An 80 average at school, and my parents would kill me!

Let me make this very clear. Im a Playstation fan and have been since the early days of PSone, that is no big suprise. Im not a fan of everything Sony exclusive and no fanboy. I HATE KILLZONE! Killzone 2 is one of the MOST OVERATED games ever imo.

Finally someone else who said it, Thank you. If you dig deep in this thread you'll see how much hate i had for that game LOL. I thought it was horrible and sold my copy, worst 60$ ive ever had to flush down the toliet. I wont be buying killzone 3. I DO like Killzone liberation for psp I recommend it for you psp'ers

That comment makes me happy I didn't buy Killzone 2. I also did enjoy Killzone: Liberation and am thinking about buying it again to have digitally on my PSP since I traded in a lot of my UMDs before Game Crazy went out of business. I also am not interested in Killzone 3. I'm much more interested in having my PS3 repaired so I can play my copy of Castlevania and Dead Rising 2.

What's so strange about buying a game you don't have the system for, especially if you plan on getting the system or you know people willing to let you play theirs? If you see a good deal you might as well take it, especially if you have the mind to buy the system later on.

For me, the timing and price was right, so I jumped on it before I missed the sale. I have friends who have a PS3 and I'm planning on getting on myself, so this is more incentive to get the system. There are already a number of games I want on the PS3, and I've been watching Tales of Graces for a while now. It'll be years before I can find Graces for the price I got it unless it comes to America, so better early than never. After all, it'd suck to find the game cheap and not buy it just because you don't have the console, even though you're planning on getting it eventually, and then not be able to find it once you actually DO have the console.

I'll probably buy what few PS3 games I want way before I can afford a new system. I just like knowing I have them so I don't have to waste time searching later.

Do NOT put out Killzone 3 too quick. Its one of the quickest, fastest and Smoothest online shooters I've played. Its taken a ton of inspiration from other games and the whole feel of the game has changed. Do yourself a favor, at least give it a shot, u will prob be like me and the many others online last night screaming "OMG this isn't right, Killzone has never been this good" but its INCREDIBLE!

Man I'm so jealous of you right now. The Killzone games were some of the first games I played on my PS3. I actually spent a lot of time online with Killzone 2 and really liked it. I keep checking my inbox for a beta invite but I don't think it's happening. I don't care for betas too much but I was really hoping to get invited for Killzone 3. Glad to hear your enjoying it. I have a feeling I'm gonna like it even better than Killzone 2.

@SilentJ... I garuantee you will enjoy Killzone 3 tons more than Killzone 2. Its fantastic. The news video is awesome if I say so myself. Ive watched it a few times again and its just funny lol.

I was wondering if somebody can help me out, I've been playing resistance 2 and every time I get on board one of the space shifts I only get about 4 halls in until they start unloading on me. I die, a lot, and turn off the system, thinking I'll pick back up a the last auto save, but when I go back the Major is explaining the magnum and alt fire back at that early level. Anyone know how I can pick up on that spaceship?

@Joe.... welcome to NLife man. Odd69 is our Resistance 2 info guy. I just bought the game in the last week or so and have only gotten a few online matches and the first level played through so far. Im sure as soon as he sees your post he will be glad to give you some advice on how to get through there.

It's an FPS in a genre that I'm already sick of. It can be the best game ever and I'd still be bored of it in about 5 minutes. The last non-retro FPS that managed to hold my interest was Bio Shock (actually, if we;re talking release date, the latest FPS I enjoyed was Call of Duty: World At War, and that's just because I'm a big WWII nerd and it did everything I wanted out of a WWII shooter), which I doubt any other game could top, retro or not, yet even Bioshock 2 and 3 can't arouse my interest. It can't just be "good" anymore, it has to be "different", the way Bioshock was "different." Killzone 3 just seems contempt to perfect an already well-worn genre, rather than branching it out and becoming something more.

Hmm Its been a long time since ive played resistance 2 campaign , ill have to see about that.
