I'm trying to cut back on PSN downloads but you have me sold on that racing game. I'll be downloading it as soon as I get on my PS3.

Just tried Bad Company 2. This quote from Facebook will tell you what I think:

Which doesn't mean I'm jumping on the Bad Company bandwagon, mind you. I've no intention to buy my own copy, as it still isn't really my type of game. But I suppose overall, this HAS been a good experience for me in terms of sales ability.

In short words.

Bad Company 2 is for tactical gamers.
Modern Warfare 2 is for arcade gamers.

If I am honest here,both games are good with BC2 being more better only by....i'd say 35%.
Both good games but MW2's servers really are a kick in the balls.

@Stuff... Im glad your enjoying it. I was so beside buying Battlefield or Wolfenstien yesterday, but I ended up going with Wolfensien because I seriously loved the Wolfenstien on XBOX years back. I tried the online for a few minutes yesterday just to see and it was horrible lol. The single player is where its at though. The trophies are mainly Online Multiplayer wich kinda sucks but oh well, when I get to the game months from now, it should be a good time. I also got Wolverine and really looking forward to getting to that one.

This is one of the cases when quality takes a backseat.

If Bad Company had been a much lesser quality game, yet shifted enough copies to compete with Modern Warfare, it would have been a success.

Instead it came out and took its seat behind Call of Duty without even putting up a fight. After months of EA saying 'Oh yeah our game can compete with anyone'

No it didn't compete. It failed in the most important aspect and everyone still wants Call of Duty.

Online trophies are stupid.
"Reach rank 1 on the leaderboards"......who in gods name makes these trophies?
Also I HATE when in order to get the platnium,you have to get online trophies too which is just crap.

What game requires you to be number one on the leaderboards?

That's a poor choice for a trophy. I don't know why developers have this mindset that a requirement for trophies is that they have to be tedious.

I forgot the game but look on PS3trophies.com for a list.

BC2 has alot of crappy online trophies,such as demoltition man:make a building crumble on the enemy 20 times" or somewhere along those lines.
Its just so random.

And the knife 5 friends trophy is stupid as hell.

The quick time events were in Indigo Prophecy too. They are almost the entire gameplay.

That game would be killzone 2. Some of the worst trophies there are. Right there with pain and wolfenstein.

@strofan..... u remember where the ship blew up in the first level, right there right over the rail. Good thing bout data phones is not kissing out on eBay lol. I'm in target right now LOL

Wanna buy some PS1 classics but I'm too lazy to walk 10 minutes to Gamestop....
And I may buy Uncharted 2 aswell..

I want FF7 and FF8....(I don't care about if its dated or whatever,I still play NES games for god sakes. lol)
I just want an RPG that is long and good with story telling.

Sick of all these games today that only last a week.

Speaking of ps1 titles there is this game called "One" which was put on the psn 2 weeks back, has anyone here downloaded it? I am curious about it and the only info i found is a review on gamespot and a handful of videos on youtube.

@Odd.... go back one page on in this thread and you will see the video I posted as well as a short description of the game. Its my favorite game on the PSone!

Looks like PS3 Firmware 3.21 is coming April 1st.

It will only remove the other os option to ensure the PS3 won't be hacked.

That guy who hacked the PS3 did it through the OS option.
Plus its pretty worthless if you already have the internet.

You can install Linux and dual boot it normally or use a disc.
And maybe it will free up some space on the PS3 or give it more ram.

@slapshot82 yea i totally missed that whole page .wow. I can't hardly keep up anymore!! I think im just going to get it, it looks like something i will enjoy.

@Odd.... I absolutely love the game, its a real blast and not the same as every other action game, and its got a cool 2.5D style to it as well.

Only 3 more Resi5 trophies and I got my 3rd Plat!
