@MickeyMac.... well thing is my friend is a Huge SF fan and he bought Bayonetta yesterday and when he finishes it Im going to try to sway a trade and throw him maybe $15 extra to make up the difference, Im seriously dying to play Bayonetta.

@y2 and Odd.... dudes are yall talking about Marvel Vs Capcom 2 cause I bought it too and it too me forever to figure out how to accept an invite lol.

@Sean.... "Yes" answers all your questions about Street Fighter 4 Its a great game, and coming from a Soul Calibur/Mortal Kombat background, everyone is just way to advanced at the game for me, Im loving Blazblue though, it rocks and plays just like Guilty Gear.
On the trophies, well yeah I got a few, but Stuffy is the real man with what 12 Platinums now. I am really close to about 4-5 Platinums but got so much to play for all the multiple playthroughs. I dont really go for trophies as much anymore as I used too, games like Bioshock 2 are near impossible to Platinum and Im not trying, but I do try to get at least in the 75% of every game, but I got 7 unopened PS3 games and 4 PSP games right now lol. Ill wrap up next year I guess, cause Im getting Heavy Rain tomorrow.

Tatsukenpyaku, or something close to that. If you have the original Street Fighter 2 instruction booklet (which I do but I'm too lazy to get it out) it spells it out phonetically.

You'r a tech journalist and you don't know how the online interface of the PS3 works while you own one?

Well, I haven't tried adding anyone to my friends list, and I only bought this thing three days ago. I also don't have it in front of me right now, so I thought I'd ask the question and get an answer so I'm not messing around trying to work it out for a hour when I get home tonight. I don't have enough free time to play around with friends lists like that.

I'm not sure what you think a tech journalist does, but we're not engineers, and we don't have any special skills with consumer electronics. We write about the business of the industry. I don't know how servers work either, much less how to administer them, but I talk to server vendors on a regular basis. I do a bit of games reporting and reviewing on the side, and that's it.

Do you expect movie critics to be able to make an Avatar-style film themselves? Do you expect sports journalists to be able to win the NBA? No? Good, so, how about cutting short the silly attempt to flame me, I was only asking a question.

Excuse me?

Another question for anyone who feels inclined to talk about the PS3 - Is Dante's Inferno any good? I'm halfway interested in it, but reviews are pretty divided.

@WaltzElf: I think what he meant by 'you ought to be ashamed' is that you ought to be ashamed that you took nintenden's joking around at face value and went off on him for it, lol. :3

You know well what I'm talking about.

Friends list on the PS3 uses a thing called PSN ID's/Gamertags.
Instead of using codes like the Wii does to add someone, you simply add them by their username.
Simple and easy.

Thank you. Is it the same system as the Wii where you both have to add each other before you can play games together, or is there a lobby system for games?

Again, I haven't tried any of this yet, but I'm rather interested in seeing how The Darkness plays online. It's pretty good single player.

Dear WaltzElf, I was teasing you. Where is your sense of humor? Adding online friends to your PS3 account is extremely simple, you always seem like a smart guy and I believe you will figure it out in a sec. Your comparisons are very bad though, comparing making a movie and winning the NBA with adding a friend to your online PS3 account, anyone can do that, trust me you don't need any special skills.

My sense of humour comes in and out. <_<

I'm honestly not that great with working these things out for myself, which is why I asked for the help. I find the PS3 to be quite unweildy. Too many menu options when you first start using the thing.

y2josh

@WaltzElf: There is a lobby for all games I have played. To add a friend to your list you send them a request, they recieve a friend request from you and either accept or not accept. I'll send you one when I get home.

@Slap: Yeah, that's what we were talking about. Odd knew how, I was the slow one lol

Haha...Sorry....I am also just teasing you. lol

Most games include a lobby system and you can play with people world-wide.
There is no need to add people in order to play unless of course you want to play with friends and then invite them into your lobby.

Different games have different approaches to how the online works.

You can also add anyone you've played online even if you not know them.
You can send anyone a message without them being on your friends list too.

Trust me......I got death threats from Call of duty players. lol

PSN friend requests are basically what everybody WISHES Nintendo would do; nice, simple, and pretty much STANDARD (like how the vast majority of websites or game systems you use have that kind of setup). Note this complaint is with Nintendo, not you, WaltzElf.

I am indeed still the TRUE king of PSN Levels on this thread. Only the two of us are level 13, and Slappy's only ahead of me in experience 'cause he has well over 100 more Trophies than I do (they're just lower value). Quantitatively, I have 74% of all the Trophies in all the games in which I've earned at least one Trophy combined.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

Firkraag

Eh... what about Darksiders that I asked about on last page. Good?

There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
