well, i cannot believe NL didn't cover this, but MvsC 3 IS official. http://www.moetron.com/2010/04/17/marvel-vs-capcom-3-unveiled... so far, it says that it will be only on PS3 and 360, but keep your fingers crossed for it to hit Wii too. There will be more information to come by E3

Whilst we're all excited here, until the game is confirmed by Capcom as heading to a Nintendo console, we won't cover it. We all have our fingers crossed, though
I just found out about the teaser, its exciting to see that its confirmed to be in production. I noticed in the teaser that the art is taking a SFIV style, hopefully, if its 3D on 2D like IV, it'll match up to the fast gameplay of MvC2.

ARGH not on Wii again!!!! Why do I have to love Capcom fighters so much? I just can't bring myself to buy a 360 just for them - yet I so want them. It's frustrating when the Wii could handle them fine too.
@madgear: Why not get a 360 unless you can't afford it? If you like fighters there are plenty of games for it for XBLA and retail disc releases. A few good ones or traditional fighting series that are present off the top of my head, Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, Soul Calibur, VIrtua Fighter, Tekken, BlazBlue, Battle Fantasia, MK vs DC, Guilty Gear, SamSho, Garou, Fatal Fury, and KOF.
@madgear: Oh, man that sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly though, if its just an excuse, they don't take up that much space, but I'm guessing its more like a house rule or something, so then even swapping systems won't work, that's what I do.

Almost everyone of those is on PS3, which is easier to control because you don't have to use a crappy d-pad like the 360, so if you getting a console for fighting games PS3 as far as a d-pad wins.
On Topic: Well I'll get it for PS3, if its on Wii, alright, if not I'll always have my PS3 as the back-up for anything that doesn't come to Wii about it. It looks so awesome even though I'll be accused of being a spammer (Hey it works )
@Supermarioman: I agree almost all the retail releases are on PS3 which I also have and I also have some of the same games on PS3 as I do on 360, Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue, Soul Calibur IV, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Street Fighter 2HDR, but I'll throw in the argument that in my experience, PSN <<< XBL, yes, you'll need to pay for it and that sucks, but its more stable for online play, at least for me. Most "real" fighting game fans won't use the controllers anyways, they'll either buy or build a joystick. That being said though, I am crap at the stick and I got used to playing with the 360 controller also, if you have an older 360 controller, yea, it'll probably suck, but if you get a new one, it most likely won't because I've been playing all my fighting games with them fine or I could just be better than you, hehheh, j/k.

Nah I wont be able to get a PS3 or 360 so gonna have to do without unfortunately. Such a shame as, when I saw it was announced, I thought it'd be for the Wii with us getting Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. It's mostly just Capcom that like to piss me off with releases - we need like a single gaming format so people don't have to turn their living rooms into an arcade for the sake of a few exclusive titles.
