Yeah, Mac App store sales are fairly common. I scored World of Goo for only $2 a few months ago, and Trine and Braid were both at $2 each for awhile on there.
Aww, I missed it then. I got Trine and Braid in the Humble Indie Bundle awhile ago. Matter of fact, I think they were bonus games given to me later on. I think. I find it funny how Gameloft calls their online service Gameloft LIVE.
Yeah.. The Mac App Store got Cave Story + 2-3 months before it hit Steam and it has games for Mac that are available on Steam- except Steam lacks the Mac version (like Borderlands and Bioshock). I really want Borderlands to buy from Steam and to take advantage of the sale but Steam doesn't have the Mac client. And the Mac Appstore doesn't and hasn't put the game on sale....
Just like to point out a couple of deals I saw on there today (US store, I don't know if there are differences between countries or regions): Bejeweled 3 is currently 50% off ($9.99) until February 14th, and the big one: Trine (the original, not the new one) is currently only $.99. You may want to look into that one.
