I should know, I've slapped people in the face with Muramasa before.

Literally!

Not to be demeaning, but did these same people also praise Heavy Rain?

Yes because if you liked Heavy Rain then you automatically are not as qualified as BedCommando to assess the quality of the game. What with his proved ability to assess games objectively and all.

yeah, if I decided someone's opinion didn't matter because they liked a bad story in a video game, no one's opinion would matter. Probably including my own.

Seems you didn't read the part "Not to be demeaning". But with that aside, I've heard the same things said for Heavy Rain, and that was a big disappointment. So when you hear the "completely new take on videogames" line, most recently one would think of Heavy Rain, as it got that title as well.
Now this won't stop me from eventually playing it, but it will change of how high (Or low) I should put the bar of expectation.
We've all been there - Expecting alot out of a game, only to be left with an unpleasant experience.

This game is quite simply awesome. It's so much fun being a cop, especially a cop who embodies Phoenix Wright, in the 1940's.

QUEEN OF SASS

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Ravage

Can't wait for the PC version

Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

Aviator

I wish I had it on PC, just to give it a bit of extra power. But it's still an amazing game so the little things don't bug me as much.

Just got around to playing this game (yeah I know I have a huge backlog) and all I have to say is I am loving it. I wasnt a huge fan of the GTA series except for Vice City but I found that I just couldnt put this game down. I agree with the previous posters saying that if you expect a GTA clone you are going to be disappointed. It almost reminds me of a Phoenix Wright game if Rockstar did it lol.

So far I logged six hours today and probably alot more tomorrow.

What does that have to do with LA Noire?

Anyway I notice that this game is 3 Discs long on the Xbox and I was wondering is it really that long of a game? I have never seen a multi disc game this gen I remember them from the PS one days.

Young Frankenstein, him yelling "It's alive!", in reference to the fact that you just revived a thread that died back in June.

It is actually pretty long, but the size is more due to the technology rather than the length.

Ah. Well if I would have started a new one I didnt want it to get locked. Forgive me for searching for one that was already started and adding to it rather than starting a new one and having the TBD lock it .

Thats what I thought the more I play it still loving it and I am on the second disc. I just might go ahead and keep this one from Gamefly.

Haha, yes, well, she can get a little "lock happy".

I don't know, you might want to get to disc 3 first. In my opinion (and I know a lot of others agree) the game loses steam about halfway through disc 2. Everything just starts to repeat, and by disc 3 you've seen everything the game has to offer and the rest is just trying to get it done with. I bought the game when it came out, and I've not even beat it yet because I just don't really care to. It's a good game, sure, but it could've been so much better.
