Back before I found this site, I always thought IGN was the best source for game reviews and other things. That........ was a very long time ago. As far as Wiiware goes, they've given amazing games horribly low scores (Onslaught, Madstone) and shovelware great scores (Mixed Messages, Platchen, don't worry about replying, I've got you covered) wiiloveit wrote: Also, since when is My Aquarium great and PLATTCHEN crappy? Critics and reviewers always seem to be all over the place to me. It is obvious that many of these guys can't get out of the way of their own bias opinions to give a quality review. At least half or more of the games / movies I own are rated nothing short of piss poor, but to me they rock! I use IGN on a normal basis, but it's to catch news or quick flashes of the front pages to see if anything special shows up. They do do a pretty good job of covering a lot of stuff though (IE: E3, though more exclusively if you are a member).

Nintendo Life just has more of a cool nostalgic feel to me. Good community. Reviews more sound and consistent.

While I no longer go there for game news, really... what needs to be said about IGN that hasn't already been said about IGN? Just stop going there.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
