I really don't see graphical imrprovements- in regards to character models and structure. Not saying it looks terrible, but it doesn't look like a game you'd see on 360 or PS3, that's all. Shows that even Wii can hold up against it's bigger competitors, really (I remember playing in the Jungle mission and how impressed I was by how it looks- lush, green and gorgeous. All about art direction). .
If this is a lazy port then the graphics aren't going to be significantly better. But if you were to compare a game developed by a team who really know how to push a system like Naughtydog with the uncharted games and compare it to one of the better looking Wii games there's still a huge gap between the two. Though it's not just about the level of detail or quality of textures and character modules. The xbox 360/PS3 can handle more and better effects like weather, vegetation that moves in the wind, explosions, higher numbers of onscreen enemies or more action going on. I certainly wouldn't take Goldeneye Reloaded to be a good representation of the graphical power of the xbox 360 or PS3.
I will probably pick this up when it's cheap, the Wii version appealed to me but not enough to actually buy it. Now it'll have better online capabilities thanks to not being on a console with a terrible online infrastructure and friend codes I'm far more interested.
I keep telling friends who own a 360 and PS3 to look into this game. Too bad most don't game on PC/Mac to know that there's Half Life 2's mod: Goldeneye Source as mentioned before. I'm going to have to get HL2 soon to get on Goldeneye Source :3
@komicturtle92 You'll absolutely enjoy Half Life 2 as well if you've not played it before. It's an incredible game, and make sure you get it in the Orange Box bundle so you will land Portal as well. Portal is one of the best games ever created!

Um can't Nintendo block this? They hold the rights to the GoldenEye game, and they actually assisted Activision with the development of the "Wii-make". ;-P

One of the articles I read said that Rare owns the coding to the original game, which is why the new ones are so different.

Even if they could, why would they? It's not like anyone is running out to buy the game anymore, and the game will most likely get the upgraded treatment on Wii U as well!

Yeah, this. Rare owns the coding. Activision has the rights to the Bond license. By putting Daniel Craig in the game, and reworking the level design, there's no rule whatsoever that says Activision can't make a GoldenEye game.
EA benefitted from exactly the same rule - it too made a "GoldenEye" game, remember.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Neither is Activision's Goldeneye - it uses a different character and is a completely different interpretation of the story, with different levels, which was the point I was trying to make. Even if Nintendo owned some rights to Rare's Goldeneye, the fact it no longer has the license to the Bond series means that Activision can do what it likes, as long as it doesn't copy the Rare game (but not the movie).
alright, i take back what i said about the art direction not looking as good. memorial and every other environment look a lot better in this new trailer: [youtube:0IpPtFOoKL8]
