Since I know there are people interested in this, I will attempt to ask a question and hope someone answers
The Atari games sale ends tomorrow, so I am wondering if I should get Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate 2, or Neverwinter Nights. Torment looks interesting because of its different storyline.

A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

Oh carp. Must buy Neverwinter Nights RIGHT NAO. Also Planescape: Torment and BG2 are awesome so don't pass them up.

Neverwinter Nights. Torment

(Tee hee. It's not Neverwinter Nights: Torment although that would be interesting.)

FYI I mentioned this sale in the Steam thread, which may be why there aren't any replies here lol.

Uh... that is a period lol
Anyway, I figured I would be able to get more specific attention in this thread, however it seems that it isn't coincidence that people responded to that even after I posted its own thread lol

Oh my bad. I had dust on my screen so it looked like a colon LOL.

I posted it in the Steam thread because that's where all the PC gamers on NL visit. I didn't notice this thread until your reply.

lol No one did. I was thinking of posting it there, but thought it may be poplar enough because I know we have a lot of users into those games. Anyway, I am thinking I will get both NWN and Planescape.

Good choice. If you don't have Baldur's Gate 2 then I highly recommend that as well. Arcanum is another great classic CRPG.

God bless G.O.G!

Make sure you get the multiplayer key for Neverwinter Nights...

The vanilla games are okay, but there is still a robust community, with just about any kind of multiplayer experience you could want. Try some persistent worlds. 'Course you can still download thousands of mods, or even make your own. One of the most user friendly toolsets you'll ever find.

Baldur's Gate 2 is a must, with or without modding it. I think I replay it almost annually.

Two of the best 'deserted island' games ever made!

We have to go through the support forum to get the key?

Is this the official GOG thread?

They're doing a new sale, and I bought Capitalism 1 + 2, Seven Kingdoms, Restaurant Empire as part of the deal, and SimCity 2000 on it's own. SimCity is as brilliant as ever - it makes me want to play SimCity 4 again.

I also tried out the free games, and while Teenagent is completely illogical (as mirrored by the reviews), and riddled with typing errors they're all pretty good. I've never been into point and click adventures, but Beneath a Steel Sky stands out as my favourite so far. Ultima and Lure of the Temptress are just too difficult to play for me.
