Yep. I've played and enjoyed online play before, but to be honest, most online features in games don't interest me too much. Just prefer single player adventure titles over competitive multiplayer ones.
I don't play online that often; most of the games that I like to play tend to be single-player games. I do play games like MH3U, MK8, or ACNL online, but not too often.
Not much, mostly because I'm an online co-op kind of guy, Whenever I fight someone as me(myself) vs the world. Either 2 things happen, I fist pump my way towards victory....or have it just be me crying in the corner of my room.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.
Well do we have a choice? I mean Nintendo has this weird idea that online gaming is the poison of the industry.
While they may be behind the times in terms of features, the fact that Nintendo offers online play tells us they at least know its important, if only they put it in more of their 1st party games though.
I'm more of a local play type of guy. Friend or stranger, I like to see them face to face that way I know they're not trying anything funny with hacks, leeching. cheats and what not. Plus easier to learn and interact.
With that said, I do play online but mostly with co-op games (MH3U, OW3H, RE: Mercenaries 3d, etc). People tend to get carried away with the whole win by any means mentality. I'm still having "D-day" flashbacks with Metroid Prime Hunters and Trace in that lava stage.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

No, I don't really play many games online and if I do, I don't message or talk to people I don't know often. I dealt with so much harassment that I just stay silent unless it is a friend or family member.
I love online co-op and team battles, even though you can still run into dummies pretty often , but I'm not a huge fan of 1v1 or free for all competitive play. It seems like every spammer, flamer, cheater, coward, and guy who can't afford a big truck to assuage his ego flock to these types of games and it just ruins the experience for me. I do like Mario Kart though, even if the item imbalance in the middle of the pack drives me up the wall T_T. Would have loved to see online co-op for Hyrule Warriors...but no such luck.
I almost lost my wife to WoW. I even quit my job to focus on all my toons. In fact she left me and it took 3 years for me to get her back. One of the conditions of us getting back together was no online gaming. I have severe OCD and other anxiety disorders, and I find myself using games as escapism. I even have to have a time limit that she helps me keep when it comes to playing games period. But I can't lie I do miss it from time to time, but not as much as I missed my wife and son when I wasn't with them.
