This is true and I wholeheartedly agree with you on this Ravage.

I do stand by that the console version, even though they had to be smoothed out by many patches, are now and always have been great. The add-on maps are all fantastic and its just a great online FPS game.

I pre-ordered Black Ops.
I'm going to the midnight launch which is going to be scary for me as I'm going alone. lol
I'll have to sprint home.

PC version was quite a rip....why they couldn't have lean I'll never know. I personally think they could've had lean on consoles too...d-pad keys worked fine for the CoD classic....that came with the came....

I gave the series a try with this entry....didn't win me over and thus I'm passing on Black Ops.

Yeah guy's I think the thread is about Black Ops, not stories on how COD didn't win you over or how COD sucks.
If you don't like COD, cool fine, but don't bring that crap into this thread because I'd like to talk Black Ops with people who will be buying the game.

I will be getting this but it will be on the Wii. I have a PlayStation 3 but would rather play it with the Wii remote and nunchuck. I loved reflex and world at war on the Wii not to mention I actually know more people with a Wii then anything else!

That is what makes games the best regarless of what system you play on!

I kind of understand. You would think that such a feature would show up in a game called Modern Warfare. having to stick half your body out of cover to see around a corner seems a little counter-intuitive.

Hmm...yeah I will definitely get Black Ops...but I havn't yet made my decision whether to get a PS3 or Xbox. I know a lot more people with Xbox's but I like PS3's game library more. But back on topic this game looks really cool, especially the new wager matches and the new zombie mode. Well, to be honest, every part of the game looks great!

I'm more excited about the return of Nazi Zombie mode, more so than anything else.

The Black Ops Internal beta is heavily rumored to be leaked online for the 360.

It shows the awesome intro(as in who made the game and not the actual story intro) and it shows off the first time, the main menu.

Here is another video showing off the level "cracked" with the mode being domination. The guy is using the AK74u which will be one of my first primary Sub Machine Guns I get my hands on. (It was also in COD4 and was an SMG too and it rocked)

New Additions include:
Somewhat revamped loading screen.

When you press select we already know it reveals how many kills you have and deaths, and now they have added in how many captures and defends you have and this will help out who is a score whore or who is actually doing the objective(This is included in all objective based games like Demolition or Search And Destroy,etc)

Final Kill-Cam for Objective based games like Domination and Demolition.

Same here, and I'm glad it's actually going to be in the Wii version. It's something I really missed in the Wii version of WaW, and the only thing that could make it better is downloadable content. If map packs come out for the PS3 and XBox 360 versions, they should be available for the Wii too. The Collector's editions on the other consoles include the 4 Zombie maps from World at War, as well as the characters and voices that went with them (They're also putting Dempsey and the others into the first two maps, so all four will have those entertaining one-liners from Shi No Numa and Der Reise). You're also going to be able to upgrade the Black Ops weapons in the Pack-a-Punch Machine, so that should be interesting. This should all be on the Wii version too, if possible. (please let it be possible)

The zombie mode is so awesomely dumb I have to play it. JFK kicking zombie ass? Yes please!

So far, I don't know what to say about this game. Fun but a bit mediocre might be it at the moment. Of course, I only had the game for a day.
