Topic: Call Of Duty: Black Ops Thread.

A new site has opened up for the new Zombies mode in Black Ops and boy does it look even more epic.

Scary vibe to it too. Also I saw a Helicopter being used in one of the videos so maybe we will get Vehicle perks this time around?
Also for the same scene, It was obviously located outside but was set in a neighborhood so does this mean some levels will be on the streets ala Left 4 Dead? I hope so.

If it's not on the Wii this time, I'll be disappointed.

If you have a PS3 or 360 you might as well buy it on those systems because I would not be surprised at all if the Wii version of Black Ops got no Zombie mode. It's just the way things are for the Wii and it's lazy to be honest. But then again I have both so....
Joke. I'd keep VERY low expectations for seeing Zombies mode in Black Ops Wii.

Nope. It had no Co-Op or Nazi Zombies modes.
Like I said. If you own a Wii along with one of the HD consoles. I don't understand why anyone would go near the Wii version.
It's a shame because the Wii can do much more than they're pumping out.

Agreed, I loved what they did with Modern Warfare Reflex, so hopefully Black Ops Wii will be just as good if not better.

Whoa. Nice! Nazi Zombies is like...the best thing ever. Is this only going to be with the Hardened Edition or wil it be in the regular game too? I'm probably getting a PS3 soon.

But the COD games don't sell well on the wii. Mature rated Shooters sell 95% of their bulk on the 360 and PS3. I don't even know why they make them on the wii.

In this one Xbox magazine that I have (Halo issue I think), it say that the head of Activision was talking about how gamers are practically wanting a pay per month system for the CoD games... I know I heard about him saying some pretty bad stuff, but seriously? Maybe I'm biased because I don't like the idea of paying monthly for something I already payed for. It's like paying full cash on the spot for a car, and getting charged a monthly fee for paying the full installment. I do understand the appeal of MMO games, but this guy is talking about milking everything from us.

Also, I really hope they eliminate kill streaks from the game.

I sort of agree. I think streaks should be changed a lot, but not removed. There shouldn't be a reward for every other kill, maybe every five or ten kills, so you actually have to work towards it. And those rewards shouldn't count towards your next reward (Like in COD4, 5 kills= Airstrike, kill two people with airstrike= Chopper).

I kind of agree with that, once you start a kill streak, you will rack up a lot of kills that can hardly be helped. I just find it no fun to be on the either side of it; easy buttons are lame. If they maybe restored your health (oh wait, no such thing), gave you a short damage boost, maybe a small speed boost, etc. Things like that can help you get more kills, but they don't kill for you. Of course, this won't happen...

Yes Black Ops will have It's own Zombie levels for free but if you buy the collector's editions you will get the four World At War Zombie maps as well as the free ones. Now we don't know if the 4 WAW Zombie levels will be on the discs or downloadable yet but i am guessing it's the latter.

Secondly for those who say 'killstreaks should be removed'.
1) Killstreaks do not count towards other killstreaks anymore. In other words, the only way to get killstreaks is by using normal combat like guns, grenades, and knifes. etc
2) There is a barebones mode for those who don't want any perks or any killstreaks. All of this has been confirmed.

Good news! Thanks Sean, I was kind of looking forward to this game because of the setting.

I'm personally interested in the Wager modes. I know I won't be spending as much time on these modes as say Team Deathmatch or Domination, but it will be a mode I'll return every 3-5 matches and have a few games on it.

I think Black Ops will be better than MW2 looking at all the perks, modes, additions to Black Ops and of course stuff like commando being taken out and one man army.
Treyarch have always gotten bashed because of World At War, but I personally think it is better than MW2 and better than COD4 due to the Zombies.

I'll be playing this while i kill some Zombies in BlackOps. Amazing song by an amazing singer.

At first i wasn't sure about Black Ops, but now i'm kinda excited! I really like the CoD points and Create a Class 2.0 idea. Anyway, i don't like that RC car crap. Example: Get 3 kills at beginning of match and then drive car into spawn. At least it won't build your killstreaks though.
I probably wouldn't get this with my own cash, but since my sisters getting it for me, i'm pretty happy.
