I actually ended up owning two copies of this game...one through the site linked above, and another through a bundle on Steam.
I'm going to keep the Steam version as it's linked to my account, but does anybody want my other copy? I haven't run it yet, so it shouldn't be linked to my machine, and I'm not asking for anything in return. (If you want to give me something, of course, I won't say no! But it's not necessary.)
If you want it, just email me at my screen name here (without the space) at yahoo. I'm not positive it'll work for somebody other than the purchaser, but there's no harm in trying.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Finally I had time to play it, but for some strange reason, I can only run right using the toggle switch. When I press the key assigned to left movement, the guy merely turns so that he is facing left, but does not move in that direction. I have this same problem -regardless if I use analogue controls, or my keyboard.
Edit : Just got it working with digital (D-pad) controls. Now my question is, does it support analogue movement?

I find this really annoying, and am wondering if any of you have this problem.
I didn't have that problem, but you can change the button layout to see if that fixes it.

Technically, the YAWA installer is not linked to any single computer. In theory, as long as you keep the installer, you could install AYIM on other computers. (I have spent WAY too much time troubleshooting my aforementioned control issues)
You could try contacting the devs about it. I'm sure they will try to help out.

I know, but I'd probably be done with the game by the time they got back to me. Just wondering if anyone here got the player's movement to work with analogue controls.

I did. Just plugged in my controller, booted up the game, and mapped the game controls to the joystick and buttons. Works fine for me.
Why can't games go on sale on the Wii Shop ever. I want this on my TV!
How's the control on a Dual Analog gamepad on PC (if you can get it to work), compared to pointer controls on the Wii? Pointing on the Wii to rotate was a bit annoying sometimes, so if it works more smoothly with a dual analog gamepad then my compy may be the better bet anyways.

Well, moving the character is pretty simple (left/right movement), but the PC version doesn't have the "tilt at any angle" option that the wiiware version does. The PC version only rotates the world at 90 degree angles, which makes the game more challenging. You can set the angle changes to the buttons or (possibly) the 2nd joystick on a gamepad, but they'll only rotate on 90 degree angles.
Overall, I recommend at least trying it out with a gamepad, but the keyboard controls work fine too.
@irken Thanks for the info. I finally found out what the problem was. AYIM was mapping the horizontal controls to my toggle switch's Y-axis. I was able to compensate for this by running it through GlovePIE (yes, I am using a CC). The toggle switch now works. However, the keyboard controls will only let me run right. No matter, this is but a minor dilemma, one which I can probably fix during my next AYIM session.
For those who are wondering, I've had great success running GlovePIE with several other PC games, including Track Mania.
@Xk Thanks so much man this is such a Godsend! I literally just beat the Max level in MiS and was wishing I could get it free on PC like And Yet It Moves! Getting it right now.
I just found the Max and the Magic Marker Sale today, but for some reason they said my password was invalid even after I reset it. Oh well, it worked out in the end (I'm downloading this right now). I wonder if I can also trick the PC version into getting more ink dots than the total.
And Yet It Moves is really a great game, one of my favorites, and would be even better if it had a little more creativity and a little less filler. Still a nice first effort from Broken Rules (excited for their next game, Chasing Aurora, as well).
