Topic: Ace Attorney Thread

This sums up what I've played the most the past year or so: Herlock Sholmes' dialogue I always imagine being voiced by Thunderbolt Zeke. Even ignoring the small moments of voice acting already in the game, that's probably not the best voice choice possible, but the personality fit too well for me I guess.

I just finished “The Return of the Departed Soul,” and my GOODNESS that was awesome. After that final part, I really want to see a fully voice acted Ace Attorney game. That cutscene was absolutely insane.

Ahh, I have finally finished The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. What an absolute adventure that was.

I plan on writing a full-on review of the game in the next few days here, so if you care to read my nonsense then stay tuned!!!

@Fizza oooh this might be interesting! Google Translate says “October 19 is finally our turn for Gyakuten Saiban!” So I could see this broadcast either being them just talking about Ace Attorney and the history of the series, which would be cool but kind of disappointing. Or, we finally get an announcement on something, likely a second trilogy

@StarPoint I NEED APOLLO TO COME HOME (and also see what the hell is up with that air-guitaring prosecutor, I've heard he's VERY popular).

(I'm just curious as to why these bots chose the AA thread of all places to show off their scams. It's literally about pursuing justice and outing evil: doesn't exactly fit, does it?)

I've intentionally been staying out of this thread in fear of spoilers. Despite the fact that I own both Ace Attorney Trilogy AND The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, I have yet to play either collection. I do hope to get to the former within the next couple of months.

@Tyranexx I don't want to say anything about the games (especially when you haven't touched them yet) but let me tell you something: you will never see those AA Twitter argument videos the same way again after playing the original Trilogy. I only knew Phoenix Wright as the 'ha ha funny objection guy' before playing the games and now I can't stop thinking about him, someone help me.

Speaking of AA arguments and great fan-edits, I have to give a shout-out to my favourite AA video of all time (profanity warning for those sensitive to that):

@Fizza I've run across a couple of those videos. Tbh I think the only reason the video I shared showed up in my recommended videos was thanks to some of the AA Heard vs. Depp highlight parodies I watched awhile back. (I paid very little attention to the actual trial proceedings)

I LOVE that number argument video. XD I think most rational thought flew into the irrational about halfway through.

I saw this image while scrolling through Twitter news and the first thing that came to mind for me was: why does Lionel Messi look like that one character from Dual Destinies?

(haven't played DD myself so I don't know their name but anyone who has probably knows who I'm talking about)
