@Rorylee single player is good and you should finish it for sure but don't use it to get hard to get items. Even online can be really hard to find certain items. I've heard many a story of someone trying to get a rath plate for like months. Some items can be easier to obtain in the higher ranks which is after 30. There is only one monster offline that you don't see online and is the final one so keep playing through just for that reason. He will be easier to defeat though with high rank armor. I needed parts from him to upgrade other monster parts so had to defeat him many times to get them. I'm sure Gameday has told you a lot of what you need to know. Good luck and happy hunting.
@Tech, I mix it up quite a bit with the offline and online. Offline seems easier to harvest all the stuff you need for potions, and making some good trades. Gameday has been really helpful, he will always tell me what everything is for and what's best strategy for slaying monsters. Thanks for the input Tech, hopefully see you on GE tonight.

I just get them from the argosy captain. As for spider webs, If you go to deserted island in freehunt, head over to area 3, and look for the blue butterfly in the center of that area, catch bugs there. All 3 times I've gotten spider webs.

forgot about the captain, but then again that way is boring. xD I knew about the spider webs though, problem is that they vanish until you start a new hunt...kinda annoying, so I was wondering if there was a faster method.

There is a faster method but it involves trading with the lady up front. Problem is she doesn't always have them and you need a certain item from the bugs I believe to trade with.

I may show up...dunno, probably not....just realized that the number of slots don't increase when you upgrade from low rank armor, lol....(after I worked on Helios, too...) So I need to deal with Ceadeus a couple of times...need a bunch of horns...and restock on webs/thunderbugs.

@Gameday, just got done playing MH. I'll be on later tonight if you want to do some quest. Did you get into your new place yet? I just saw someone who had a rank above 450, that's some crazy stuff.
