I really wish they would have given more than 20 slots for armor sets. I have been having delete blade sets that I love for these gunner sets. Thanks for the sweet Cluster suggestion to go with my Damascus.
What rapid fire guns do use with your Ala set though? Also, you should hop on this weekend I would like to discuss this gunner more with out having to bounce a message every half hour or so.

As for Bonus Shot, I have one RF gun for each element. I don't use them often though. I pretty much only use Escadora + RF Flame for killing G. Jaggis and G. Baggis since you can take them down fast and show off to newbies.
The only other time I use RF ever is when I'm going for maximum non-elemental damage output. I use the Light Bowgun barrel and/or Jaggid Fire frame for RF Pierce 1 and 2. Pierce RF shots have really high recoil so they're risky to use, but it's lots of fun stagger locking monsters repeatedly due to their massive damage. Just... expect to be hit a lot more than you normally would lol. It's quite a thrill to use that setup, trust me.
I'm still not a fan of Great Swords I have a few I use but I just don't like how they feel, that said Switch Axe's are really growing on me they are my second favorite weapon after Long Swords and they might end up passing up LS's.

Pierce is my specialty. Well not so much specialty as only thing I get right now.
My first gun is Rath+ Frame/Barrozooka Barrel/ Blos Stock - Holds 10 Pierce S1 and 6 Pierce S2 (also holds some Para/exhaust)
My other is Jaggid Frame/Blos Barrel/ Needle Stock - Holds 9 Pierce S1 and 4 Rapid Pierce S2 - has a little lower attack. (holds 4 Sleep)
Rock these with Steadiness+2 on my Pierce boosting Blos armor and ravage. I don't have enough confidence in my gunning skills to run with Adreniline+2 but I still crank out the DPS.
Anytime tomorrow will be good. I get up early so let me know what works for you. ( You know the time difference right? ) It will be fun to hunt together again.
Played offline a lot yesterday, beat Ceadeus and got the credits! Then I realized to upgrade the LS that you get for beating him, you need more stupid Ceadeus parts For some reason I didn't know that the Barbarian Blade was Ceadeus' weapon... Guess I can fight it some more, but I want a better weapon before that (used Wyvern Blade "Flare")

You might want to use something stronger then a LS when hunting Ceadeus, I use a Switch axe.
Idk, it went down pretty fast with my fire LS, and trying out a different type of weapon for the first time on an elder dragon is probably not a good idea.
Blah. I got on back when I said I was going on, then had a sudden thunderstorm and I had to get off. Decided to sleep. We've been having thunderstorms a lot lately and a week or two ago we had our internet connection down for almost a week thanks to that. I'll be on tomorrow.
I'm a retired hunter for now. My Wii decided to take a crap. Don't know when it will be fixed. My friend fixed his and this sounds like the same thing. Hopefully with the right part he can fix it. Don't feel like sending it in to get fix to expensive and would rather just get a new one. Which means I would be permanently retired!
