Haha, you guys just missed me (Revas)! I wanna add all these new NL players. I'm pretty tired now though... Been playing pretty hardcore today. Jhen+ and dual Jho several times. Finally got my Damascus set!

@SuperPeach Usually I'm on in the morning or evening EST (usually not both lol). I don't have a set time I go on though. I live in a totally different timezone from the States and EST happens to be the opposite of my timezone - noon here is midnight there and vice versa. Means I'm asleep during your afternoons. When are you usually on?

I'm going to be getting online in about an hour or so. I recently got my 5-star urgent, so I'm gonna try to knock that out. If anyone's on and wants to take on Ala with me, just let me know.

Ugh...thought the 5 star urgent was Joe...well, anyways I'm about to go on. Hopefully I'll meet some of you people there, still looking for stones and gems, lol.

Something I wanna ask, about all the other weapons (except the bowgun)...like, I'm used to the sword and shield. But people keep telling me my attack sucks and all that. >_>
I've tried a few of the others but I feel like the attacks are very sluggish, like I would be attacked before I could even swing whatever I was throwing at my enemy. Can you pull off quick-like attacks that could be close to the speed of a regular sword? If not I'll probably just forget it all and stick with the sword.

Oh yeah, another thing...was looking at some weapon tree chart, thing...for the sword and shield and noticed that there are two sharpness meters...like, the top one seems to be longer than the other. Is there a way to increase the sharpness level? (besides upgrading obviously)

@BellGoRiiing SnS is the fastest weapon, period. You're definitely going to notice the heaviness of the other weapons. I think switch axe and long sword are faster than the others though, but none of them are as fast as SnS. SnS attack power isn't that bad, but it won't be anywhere near greatsword or lance. SnS is best used for status attacks because of its fast hitting speed.

And... two sharpness meters? Where?

You know, like...for instance the Toxic Fang and the Nardebosche, where the top has the normal blue level, and right below that it goes up to white.

Oh, that's the sharpness you get when you have the skill that raises your weapon's sharpness level. I think it's Sharpness + 1 or something.

Oh, cool, thought the Sharpness skill was for something else...lol. (I need to use that pointer thingy more often. >_>)

@BellGoRiiing: Most of the SnS's have really good elemental power when they're leveled up. Also, they can chain attacks a lot faster than a Great Sword, so the overall damage balances out a bit. I'd try to master the long sword (my favorite) though, just so you have a second choice. It's really easy to use once you get the hang of it, and it deals out absolutely insane damage. :3
