for some strange reason, i'm not able to visit other towns. Before the train arrives i get an error report (without error code!) and respawn outside the train station. I have contacted NoE about it but at the moment they have no idea what is wrong. Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

Yes, I am frequently experiencing this too! I did a little research on it, and it seems that many other people are having the same problem; it's the making of the game with the problem, and not the users Internet router, as many people say it is. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do on our part to fix this, we are waiting for some sort of update so Nintendo fixes this. Also, people think that the problem arises when a person with the actual cartridge of the game (non download, bought from the shop) tries to visit someone who has actually downloaded the game, then the game crashes and restarts at the train station. It is really annoying, I will agree

Drats! i know for certain it is not my internet connection - my Wii U and PC can browse and play online at the same time and AC itself does indeed connect and retrieve a list of available towns. After i select a town, i get errors. I also suspect it has something to do with the digital download version i am using. I really hope a fix won't be too long in the making as this is really frustrating... i haven't been able to visit any town yet after three days of trying.
