As much as I like fighting games I suck at them and after getting beat up for a while its no fun anymore!
Practice practice practice. Smash Bros. is pretty easy to master, once you know when to dodge and counterattack. It's all about evading your opponent and attacking when they're guard is down. Then when you get their damage percentage up enough, just knock them off of the stage.
