So I couldn't get any of the games I previously mentioned, but during the current eShop sale I decided to get Puyo Puyo Tetris, Portal Companion Collection and Lumines Remastered.
Before the sale ends, I'll see if I can get anything else, particularly Sonic Fronties (Digital Deluxe Edition), Pac-Man Museum +, the Season Pass of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the Digital Deluxe Upgrade of Sonic Superstars.
By December I hope to get Mario RPG and Wonder, at least.
Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is now a hidden gem of the Nintendo 3DS.

I picked up the expansion pass for Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity.
As part of their Black Friday sales, the price was reduced from £17.99 to £12.59 on the My Nintendo Store.
They recently issued me a £5 off voucher, because my Super Mario Wonder pre-order didn't include a promised stress ball goodie, so I grabbed the expansion pass for £7.59.
I'm opting for duke nukem 3d even though i've owned or played EVERY port
I’m the same.
Bought it in 96 for pc with my Christmas money. That game kicked off my tradition of playing a new game every Christmas.
Played through the game on the open source engine
Bought on Steam.
Bought and platinum on PS4.
Not sure if I should buy it on switch as a future purchase.
The hd rumble is ... Ok(1 2 switch is still the best hd rumble to this day plus hd rumble looses its wow once you get a dual sense) the gyro i turned off as i see no point

The softness of Composite & RF, low resolution and blur-free motion of Standard def CRT TV's is always the best way to fly for 8, 16 & 32-bit pixel art 2D games. I too hate playing them on OLED and especially LED. Razor sharp pixels ruins the smooth/rounded cartoon aesthetic which these types of games always had in the 80's and 90's on those glorious Tube TV's.
Also people forget that devs knew the picture on their high end moniters was better than a consumer tv so they'd design game to look better on "worse" tech
Even 32 bit 64 bit and some ps2/ps3 era 3d games look way better on sd crt sets
I miss my crts i had a 32 inch jvc and 2 smaller 80's and 90's portable combi sets tony hawk and ps1 metal gear on a crt is A perfection and B pure nostalgia
I had another n64 when i got my first led tv and i enjoyed it but it looked wrong it sounded wrong even ps3/360/wii/wii u mostly look best on a crt to my eyes
Ps4 xb1 switch etc are obviously built for plasma/led/oled ... I opted for plasma as it's a good middle ground for all consoles
@NeonPizza I enjoy the both games for different reasons. Super has the block, then kick or hit method. But advance has running which I enjoy. Out of the 2, advance runs great but double is just slow as dirt.
@NeonPizza I went almost all digital for this console. Nintendo will actually have to let us buy games like Ring Fit digitally to go all digital though.
TMNT Cowabunga Collection- this is how a compilation should be made, it's so good! The comic window style main menu is slick.
BroForce- had it on PS4 and had fun. Saw there was a new content update, and realized there's no crossplay unfortunately so just got it on Switch for a couple dollars for more accessible local multiplayer, also can't beat the price.
Retro Bowl- I'm a massive fan of Tecmo Super Bowl NES (it's arguably a top 10 favorite all-time game for me) so this is right up my alley. I do wish there was more on-field direct gameplay but I'm enjoying the coaching/sim aspects so far.
Contra Anniversary Collection- I've never played fully through the originals so looking forward to trying them out.
Sonic Origins expansion pass- I'm enjoying playing as Amy in the original Genesis games. Also, Knuckles makes exploring in Sonic CD easier but more fun.

A stress ball was offered as a bonus at an Australian retail chain as well, but it was later swapped for a pin.
Porygon did nothing wrong.

@NeonPizza super double dragon feels like it's running on the molasses engine. For some reason, double dragon advance runs perfectly.
Super Double Dragon has always felt a bit slower then other games in the series, not.quite sure why that is. I played my SNES copy the other day on my Super NT and when compared to Double Dragon Neon for example it just feels slower.
