@Magician considering i play 99% docked is rdd worth it over getting ghe 360 version on series s?

For context i dont have hdr or 4k and tbh i'm happy with 720p 30fps (although when we say xxfps technicly its a bracket from x to y i find the 15 to 20 bracket (20fps to be the point where i notice it as its too choppy)

I wanted so badly to pick up Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but instead I did the responsible parent thing, and picked up Paw Patrol World (for my youngest), and The Grinch: Christmas Adventures (for my oldest, who is obsessed with The Grinch), for Christmas instead.

It took longer than what I'd hoped, but I decided to get Sonic Colors: Ultimate - Digital Deluxe during its current sale.

I've never played the original Sonic Colors, so I cannot say for sure how it compares to it, but I'm hopeful I can play it and the DS version one day.

This digital version will eventually be phased out in favor of the physical version if I can find one copy, preferably the one with the keychain of Baby Sonic from the movie.

I'm also considering the idea of getting Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game, which is also on sale. Its cost in the Mexican eShop is on the double digits right now (no more than 100 pesos, or about $5 at most)

Dicey Dungeons (Digital)
My Time at Portia Deluxe Edition (Digital)

They have been on my wishlist for a while and are sale right now, so I got them. My Time at Portia seems worth the price ($3.19) from what I briefly played, just the first couple quests. All I have to say about Dicey Dungeons is why did I wait so long to get it lol. It's fun.

Felt like a little bit of retail therapy (i.e. indulgence) yesterday:

@Jhena Thanks. That's actually the third PowerA controller I've bought since you inspired me. When I've finished I'll share a snap of all of them.

I reluctantly bought the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Deluxe DLC with gold coins (as it was AU$6.00 on sale) as I didn't want to pay actual money for it (as the base game was rather sucky as is).

But my most recent physical purchases were Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Fire Emblem Engage, and Red Dead Redemption.

@Fizza : Don't they look gorgeous with their shrink wrap. First-party Nintendo games in Australia are almost never shrink-wrapped, sadly (and bafflingly). And most negative reviews on Amazon and the like are comprised of complaints about that very fact (with customers assuming that they have been sold a used product). I'm not sure when Nintendo started this practice in Australia. I remember pre-ordering New Super Mario Bros. 2 on 3DS and receiving it in the mail without shrink wrap and being rather annoyed about it, only learning later about the practice. Third party games are almost if not always shrink-wrapped though.

I rather want to grab Pikmin 1 + 2, but in light of the update that was released a day or so prior to the physical release hitting shelves, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a reprint, maybe next year (and likewise of 3 and 4).

Porygon did nothing wrong.

@Sisilly_G wait, what? You don't get your games shrink-wrapped?

Here in Mexico, I once bought a brand new copy of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle in October 2021, by then the new Mexican rating was in place. Games sold here have to have the Mexican rating, seemingly provided by the government, be it printed on the cover or with a sticker. The thing is my copy of M+R had a sticker that was below the wrap and not over it as some might think.

That made me question whether or not my copy was previously manipulated and the original wrap was removed in order to put a freaking sticker.

Sadly that seems to be the case with third-party games that don't seem to have an official Mexican release, like the physical version of Cuphead.

I still don't get the point of the Mexican ratings, as they still tell you "Go to the ESRB website for details on the rating". It's not like the government is providing those details themselves or printing our own Mexican copies, the games are still the American versions.
