Pre-ordered Siralim Ultimate last week (coming out in two weeks from now).
Already played 420+ hours on the Steam version, and man it's easily become one of my favourite RPGs ever; absolutely hyped to be able to play this on the go.
Splatoon 3. This is my first Splatoon game and boy am I disappointed. I like the aesthetic and new ideas it brings to the fps genre but the netcode and matchmaking terrible; I can only play 30-50% of matches and I've lost 80% of matches despite often being the No.1 splatter. The gameplay is frantic and chaotic in the worst possible way. When I'm facing a player head on, I'm forced to aim blindly because all the ink covering the screen obscures the enemy player. Could they at least have a highlight option to improve visibility? I'll probably drop it in a week and go back to LOL and Apex.
Not a purchase [yet, potentially], but I’ve seen Super Mario Odyssey is on sale on the e-shop at 33% off and wondering if I should go for it.
Super Mario Odyssey is magical. It's borderline revolutionary. When it came out, I wasn't excited to get another mario 3d platformer, but the reviews were so positive, I gave it a chance. And I'm glad I did! I played through the story two or three times on my own, and twice with my nieces around the holidays. Statistically speaking, it's highly likely you're going to like it. I dare say this is one of the best 3d Mario's.
My answer, as I'm sure is the same for most of you, is Pokémon Scarlet. I know it's buggy and they made some lazy choices to push it out such as not having building to go into in towns, the eating animations, etc., but I'm having an absolute blast with it. I'm well aware of my bias as I'm a huge Pokémon fan and have been since childhood. The open world and having the freedom to go wherever you want and the absolutely massive map really add to the experience. I really like the designs of the new monsters as well, with the exception of the starter lines.
Other than that, I've picked up Persona 5 Royal to play again because it's just that good and now I can play it portably. I used to use remote play with my PS Vita, but this just feels better. I always love having massive RPGs and open-world games on the go.
*The Great Ace Attorney - I only played the very first case so far
Moving Out! - I am surprised with this multiplayer game. I was looking for something similar to Overcooked to play with family/friends and Moving Out is really, really enjoyable
Bayonetta 3 - actually ... I got this for my niece as a birthday gift, but she promised that she will lend it to me when she finishes the story.
Bought the digital versions of #Drive and the Castlevania Anniversary Collection.
I'm in the process to sell the physical copies I've got of those games.
Since January 2021 owner of my first real Nintendo "home" console.
