I've bought all the Splatoon games at launch to date. Very fun series. I think I have you guys in my friends list, so I should probably see y'all in the lobby.
So, base price for the game is $60. I gameshare with my nephew. I was originally gonna grab it physically (which was how I bought both previous games), but he didn't want to have to wait to borrow it off of me, so we agreed to a 40/20 split, and I'd have the game on my account.
So that's $40 left.
Then I redeemed Microsoft Rewards points I had for Amazon credit, and coverted those into a $20 reward code.
Thus, only cost me $20 out of pocket. Even less if you count the double gold coins ($6 equivalent) I got for preordering digitally, although I'll just count that off my next digital purchase instead, since they can't be applied to the purchase that gives them to you.
@Ralizah I have @Snatcher but I don't believe I have you. What's your Switch username again? I'll be able to check whether I have you added or not by it (and if not, I'll give you my FC as soon as I get home from school today).

Please ask for permission before using my FC!
Ah, the good old internet practice of pretending you got a great deal but really you paid regular price, just used different currencies (e.g. vouchers/loyalty point scheme). Gotta love it 😜
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
I’ve just picked up The Lost Child, it’s always been on my wish list but I’ve never pulled the trigger, but it’s a fiver at 90% off. I hear it’s a fairly average SMT style dungeon crawler.
I bought resident evil 0 on eshop on sale for 9:99 euro down from 20.i bought it to play, while still trying to get a physical release of resident evil origins. Can anyone tell me if a American switch cartridge work in a switch in ireland
@NeonPizza
I've never been a fan of PS controllers. Their sticks are too awkwardly placed.
The first DualShock controller made sense because everyone was still figuring out how to best make them, but after Xbox released their 360 controller, PS should have followed that design instead of stubbornly holding on to their own.
But maybe that's just me.
I haven't touched the Series X controller yet, so my answer is the Switch Pro controller. Aside from its d-pad I think it's pretty great. Though, analogue triggers would have been nice.
@Ninfan Yeah, the Switch is region free. It doesn't matter what region the cartridge is from...it'll work fine. The only problem is that some Japanese releases don't have English support. And there are a few that have English support but do not default to English, requiring you to toggle to English in the options menu.
Some of the more popular Japan-only physical releases would be Okami, Final Fantasy X/X-2 (as both games are on the cartridge), River City Girls, Grandia HD Collection, and Chrono Cross (which is now the #1 ordered Switch import on P-A I believe?).
