I finally got around to beating Mario Wonder recently. I still think it's an OK, but overrated game though the climatic final world is genuinely good. However, Bowser essentially copying Andross, Tiki Tong and Magolor with the whole floating head and hands look is still lame.

I would say Pikmin 4 would be it for me. Harsh? Yes. But I was really excited for this game before it was released. But after a week of playing it, I just wasn't getting the satisfaction I wanted. Like I did with Pikmin 2. And another major issue is that enemies in the overworld DO NOT respawn whatsoever.
It doesn't measure up to Pikmin 2 simply. I think THAt might be a personal issue for me only though...

I'd probably have to say TOTK as well, with similar reasons to others that have already posted. BOTW is one of my all time favourite games and I just didn't feel much for this one. I'm not really into building things in games so the ultrahand got pretty tedious. Also found the lack of meaningful UI updates a shame (like that god awful horizontal menu for selecting items) . And the depths felt really plain and uninteresting. Perhaps a better engine with nice lighting would've helped with this. The sky parts were great though.
Everything about how the Shadows Over Loathing physical has been handled by Serenity Forge. Immediately after a physical was announced for fall 2023 in the April 2023 Indie World, the developers, Asymmetric, had to come out and say "well, apparently fall 2023 means January [30th,] 2024." Disappointing, but I could deal with it - and this does appear to be on them, not Serenity Forge. And then, at the very end of the year, it got pushed back to February 20th. Creeping into this year, it then got pushed back to March 5th just last week. West of Loathing remains one of my favorite indie games, and I really wanted to get Shadows physically, but now that it'll be coming nearly a year after the game hit Switch to begin with, the only reason why I haven't cancelled my preorder and downloaded the game is because I want to fill all the cartridge slots I have available in my cases. I can't believe I'm saying this considering how much I didn't want Limited Run to snap up the physical as they initially did for West of Loathing, but I think they would've done a better job. I likely would have the game physically by now if it was made available in a similar timeframe. Granted, Serenity Forge's website only ever said Q1 2024, but they could've had the listings on other sites display a placeholder March 31st, 2024 date to reflect that, and then updated the release date whenever it was firmly locked in. That would've saved me quite a bit of frustration.
It wasn’t disappointing but I haven’t gone back to Advance Wars since like April due to the trailer for Future Redeemed being dropped the same week it was releasing. I didn’t feel like playing it since I was anticipating XC3’s DLC for so long and I then went back to Splatoon 3 before TOTK released
