Topic: Wii Sports

I feel like the Switch should have been bundled with a remake of the Wii Sports. I am loving my switch and will buy a remastered version of Wii Sports if made. That 1 2 switch game just not feeling it.

A Wii Sports-style game is an inevitability, but it will need some time. Once momentum for the Switch takes off (and it won't happen for another few months), then the library of games will have a chance to flourish.

1-2 Switch seems like the sort of software that was rushed for release, and I can't imagine it having taken more than a few months to develop considering how simplistic all of the activities are.

As long as it's called something like "Switch Sports", is a retail package and has as many games as Wii Sports Resort. I'd happily get that. If they do what they did on the Wii U and lean on the Wii branding again and sell it as a kind of pay-per-sport thing then I'm not as interested in it.

I think the pay-per-sport option was a great move for those not interested in the full AU$60 package. I bought the retail version though.

You could just brand it as Pilot wings?

I think it's a game that need to launch on store shelves. Making it eShop only even if it is early on seems to be missing the point a bit.

@skywake : I didn't like that either. I hated that I had to wait a few months for the retail version to hit shelves. Fortunately, the occasional free day passes helped make the wait more bearable though. I think that Wii Sports Club as a whole was just handled really badly, and like Wii Fit U, I imagine that it would have flopped really badly at retail.
