Topic: What ONE and only ONE game would you love to see ported over to Switch?

Before I answer my own question there are a couple rules
1.) The game cannot be developed for current gen systems(PS5XBOX series S/X. Let's face it the final fantasy 7 remake sequel and final fantasy 16 world be nearly impossible to port to switch outside of a chibi version ala final fantasy 15 pocket edition or a cloud version.)
2.) You cannot choose a series of games (Suikoden, soul calibur, marvel vs, or mass effect etc) just because there are 2 great games from that series as your choice. You can however choose say marvel vs Capcom 2: new age of heroes from the marvel vs series.

Other than that go wild and have fun. I only wish I knew how to maybe make this a poll kind of thing.

My choice is Final Fantasy tactics Advance. (GBA).

Monster Hunter 4U

Get rare to put battletoads from xbox series s to switch, and include online play with it. As there was no online play on the xbox release. I know what you said @AppleroseGrace no this gen xbox , but i really didnt like it not haveing online play 👍😁

The Sims: Bustin' Out (GBA)

I freaking love that game.

With Suikoden already on the way, I would have to go with Xenogears.

Xenoblade Chronicles X.

It's best game still stranded on the Wii U and would complete a series that you can already play the rest of on Switch. I'd obviously love to see Xenosaga too, but that's a series in its own right, and Xenogears, but that deserves more of a remake from the ground up than a mere port.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted

The SpongeBob movie game is a really good game that needs to be remade.

Since it’s only one, I suppose I’ll wish for the first FFXIII. There is no reason a Switch can’t run it, and to my knowledge it is the last legacy mainline FF that is not an MMO that is not represented in some form on Switch.

Only picking 1 is hard, but I guess Chrono Trigger. Granted, I'd prefer an HD-2D remake, but I would happily accept a port.

Digimon Adventure (2013). A turn based RPG for the PSP. The Switch should have enough power and buttons to properly play this game.

Virtua Fighter 5 FS.

I'll second @Spanky84 and suggest F-Zero GX. Nintendo hasn't had a new F-Zero game for nearly two decades, so a port or a remaster of GX would be sweet. Loved that game back in the GameCube days, as well. I will say though, Spanky84, that I don't think adding weapons is a good idea. It'd be too similar to Mario Kart, and wouldn't be a good fit for F-Zero anyway because of how your vehicle would blow up when your energy reaches zero.

Geometry wars galaxies

I know you said no series but Halflife, nuff said...

Fable 2 - I’m surprised this hasn’t been ported already (although maybe it’s down to MS exclusivity). This game and series is perfect for the switch - it’s old enough that the switch should be easy powerful enough, it has a beautiful semi-open world, and there is a new Fable game coming out later this year so porting the older games to switch would bring a whole new audience to the titles and reinvigorate awareness for the series ahead of release of Fable 4 (simply called ‘Fable’).

This is my all-time favourite game so am a bit biased, but it is an amazing RPG in it’s own right and I recommend it to everyone if you haven’t tried this series give it a go. There isn’t anything like it on switch atm imho.
