Yeah, I haven't caught Grid Autosport being lower than 30% off.
Although I spend lavishly on physical releases, I usually wait for 50% off or better on digital purchases.

Anyone get the Tomb Raider games off the PS Store? The trilogy's temporary PS+ only discount expires at the end of today (so at the time of writing 8 hours) so if anyone would like to get into the series like me, now's a chance to do so relatively cheaply.

I am trying to register Super Mario 3D All-stars (Physical purchase) for My Nintendo gold points, but my Switch says I can't earn points for that software. Is that normal?

@ThainEshKelch You can normally earn points for a physical release two years after it comes out, maybe because of the limited release you can't because it's past the 31st March when it's no longer being sold.
I think I'm going to have to borrow a segment from an old favorite cable series Colbert Report, "tip of the hat, wag of the finger" or "t-dubs" if you will. Aimed towards the vn Code:Realize - Guardian of Rebirth. Wag of the finger; at a glance this vn could be mistaken for an otome vn, where you play as a woman who has multiple potential male suitors. The game's key art and box art betray what it actually is.
Tip of the hat; in truth this is a Sherlock Holmes-lite novel. I was honestly surprised. Here, a little over fifteen hours deep now, I feel as though this vn might be the best story I've experienced on Switch since Stein;Gate Elite. The pacing, the slow roll out of world information and character development leaves me eager from one minute to the next.
Regardless of how the last ten hours or so wrap up, I may have to look into the rest of this series.

@link3710 Brilliant job! I’ll ask you in a few weeks how it’s been so far. See the Chit Chat thread for in depth posts from me but bottom line, gameplays great and Lara’s femininity is not oversexualised, for the better.

Wow, I downloaded a save game on my other switch and a new page appeared asking if I wanted to enable auto downloading of saves so that switch works like every other console. This is new I don't remember seeing it in update notes. When was this heavenly feature added?
S-E's continued support of the Switch is nice. Saga Frontier Remaster, Legend of Mana HD, and Neo: TWEWY. Makes me wonder what else the publisher has planned for the Switch? Their catalogue of classics they could bring forward is beginning to get thin.

Lol that’s been a thing for a while. Last year they added the auto-save-syncing feature.
How do you think I manage to play back and forth on my Switch Lite every day? I mean, I guess I did manually back up and download saves before that. But ya. It’s all automated now across devices. The only thing to note, is save data must exist on the other device before it will auto download. So the first time after backing up, you’ll want to manually download the save. Then it just auto syncs after that.

No disagreement. But I find it difficult to qualify it as an otome while there have been zero romantic gestures or themes after fifteen hours of story.

@JaxonH I haven't used Switch much since ps5/XSX landed, but I swear it never prompted me about that as recently as November. It always threw me off that it didn't work that way. I've been switching between 2 non-Lite models since NSO went live!
@rallydefault rofl, so true. Cloud save was almost what they should have had 7 years ago... But being 100% manual made it kind of awkward. I can't believe I didn't notice this though. It's kind of a big deal.
@Magician There's definitely going to be some romantic elements to the plot, even if they're not readily apparent yet. With that said, one of the misconceptions about otome games is that they're mainly about dating hot guys. I mean, those definitely exist, and most otome games are stuffed with hot guys your character will eventually have some sort of romantic connection with, but many of them are just... stories. Romance will be in there somewhere, but it's not always integral to the plot.
There's probably quite a few otome games you'd enjoy.
