@BLPs Watched his vid, and I believe his stance was more a ''I believe it when I see it'' when it comes to third parties. Rightfully so, Nintendo promised also a lot of support for the Wii U that never happened.
Absolutely believe it when seen, but the list is quite shocking in size and range. Here's the thing. Skyrim may just be Bethesda showing they know, they want to work oo it, and its to show what can be done. Besides, Skyrim Remastered is out this week isn't it? Maybe Switch doesn't get that but some other juicy things like...iunno...ES6?
Nvidia means that while it may not be the most beefed up thing (Though as a portable...wowsers), it does mean efficient, and the custom software for running the system is a sign that this isn't your off the shelf Tegra.
@Faruko
Yea, PC gamer here, too. Pretty much have been PC/Nintendo for a good chunk of my life, even when I was a kid (very lucky I have a dad who was also interested in computers haha).
This thing looks awesome so far. I've got my PC for when I want to run the truly cutting-edge stuff, or just finagle around on something like Overwatch at like 140+ fps, ulti graphics, blah blah blah.
But the Switch for Nintendo's charm and maybe a couple 3rd-party games on the go? Looks freakin' awesome. I love how Nintendo is keeping their pedigree alive with couch coop, too. Split screen on the same console with both controllers. Probably a snap to arrange when hooked up to the TV, too. And really not that large or obtrusive looking to have on the plane or bus or whatever.
But that's about as much as I can say for now. All the negativity AND a lot of the positivity really need to be checked until we actually know more details. It's fine to give impressions, but to immediately write something off or call it the best thing ever at this point is really ignorant. And to judge the thing solely on the Wii U is also illogical. Yea, we all know the Wii U tanked when it came to 3rd parties. That doesn't mean it's gonna automatically happen with the Switch. You need to wait and see.
Well, if I wanted to play home console games portably, I would put the GamePad, AC Adapter, and System in my backpack and plug it into the nearest outlet. I mean, it's not practical, but I've done it before and it works! I don't need to Switch!

I can picture in my head that on release day, many people are going to wait in lines at stores and preorders online may be quite all over the place. I predict it may be quite a dozy, but I won't surprised. The system looks great!
By the way, im DEAD sure that is Skyrim, cause AFAIK there are no dragons in ESO.
of course that was skyrim. i knew it the very first second they showed it. if you have ever played that game you know it is skyrim in the trailer. and yes ESO doesnt have dragons.
BUT bethesda did not confirm skyrim for NS. i honetsly dont need it anyway cause i got it on pc and im way into ESO right now to play skyrim AGAIN anytime soon.
NS is great for me as a pc gamer who wants some nice nintendo games too. my 3DS hasnt been used a lot for quite some time and i never got the wiiU, cause there was nothing spectacular for me. but i am very happy to being able to play splatoon and other wiiU games on NS.
@Faruko it already happened with metro for wiiU i think.
it's also not up to nintendo. if bethesda says "yeah we plan to bring skyrim remastered to NS" and then a few months later they say "sorry but we dont have enough ressources to continue porting."
I think the Switch will ultimately have better third party support than the Wii U, but I don't expect it to have 100% parity with XB1/PS4. That being said, I should point out that the Vita and 3DS third party support should carry over.
I mean, thats besides the point tho, because this actually confirms that game IS coming to NS, at least now, 100%
Whatever happens from now till March 2017 is another story, but so far, that game is confirmed
Thats the same story with every game ever, remebwr when Red Orchestra 2 supposedly had a Ps3/4 version ? They announced and even showed it, yet that game never released.
@6ch6ris6 I don't think Bethesda would do that. The successful developers deliver on their commitments, and there's evidently been a commitment made here for it to have featured in the reveal trailer.
