Just pointing out the obvious, but it would be exactly six months after the announcement of the release month if the NX would be revealed on Oct 27th. And if it's released at the end of March, then there's less time until release than from the announcement of it.

This was during the investor meeting, right? That means that year doesn't necessarily mean 2016 but could instead mean before April 2017 due to financial year.
Well Nikkei is in a field that's relevant to talking about financial stuff as far as I can tell so it still applies. Hence a reveal in March 2017 would still make the statement true and well delays happen so release date delayed wouldn't be surprising.
Yup, Gaf has given the ultimatum: If Emily Rogers is wrong and there isn't news by the end of Friday, she'll be a banned source and they won't allow NX threads until Nintendo gives official word. Honestly, I'm shocked they hadn't done the latter ages ago.
