I really love my Switch Lite. It’s really cool, but is there something wrong when I have a squeaky left bumper?

Metro Redux rated for Switch. This was leaked earlier but now it seems to be confirmed.

Let’s just hope they include gyro.

Man, both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light on Switch? Feels like every month we're getting more games I thought would never ever be on a Nintendo console when they launched.

I'm wondering if they'll release some sort of Deus Ex remaster soon tbh, looking around at what might come next. The original game never made it to Xbox, and the second never made it to Playstation, so there's a good amount of market they could tap by rereleasing both as a collection. Human Revolution too of course would be nice, while Mankind Divided feels like it'd have to come on it's own.

Happy new year everyone. What are all your gaming New Years resolutions? Mine is to try and not keep buying games every time I see a sale is on. Yesterday I purchased 8 more games in the Xbox sale. And then before that, 9 games in the PlayStation sale. And that is on top of my overflowing back catalogue which I haven't even started. I think I have games dating back to the beginning of the generation to still play.

I will get hiatus for a while from purchasing Switch games on early 2020 since i have PS3 Slim on December 2019 and i want to expand my PS3 games and also PSP games.

@JaxonH Dood, have you experienced any issues using gyro in Black Flag? I swear it’s like my Lite is ‘stuck’ or something for the up/down axis. Lateral aiming isn’t different. I’ve done calibration, restarted and shutdown power, but no dice.

My resolution is take better advantage of free game offers (like on the Epic Games store, etc.). I only have a Mac, and it is not gaming capable really (outside of like Apple Arcade), so I always assumed I wouldn't be able to get any of the free games that are only for Windows. I don't know why I thought that, and I should have known better, because I tried it with the new Yooka-Laylee game yesterday, and I got it even though I am incapable of playing it. In just one day now, I already have 4 free games from the Epic Games store, and 1 from GOG (not including F2P games like Fortnite). I seriously regret missing out on all of the freebies over years past, but I'm going to take advantage now, and if I ever get a gaming PC in the future like I hope to, I'll have a nice library waiting for me.

Yes! It’s happened twice actually! I wasn’t sure if my system was defective but when I rebooted the system and started the game it worked fine. I also reset the Gyro in settings to calibrate it. It’s been working fine ever since.

@JaxonH PHEW! Okay, so it must be a software thing. Kind of like how Everspace makes the Home sidebar slow to appear.
Thanks, I’m relieved now. I’ll fiddle around with the settings and such so more.

I’m the crazy person that finished the Saints Row 3 campaign on the Switch. I played it on PS3 years ago but there was one part I just couldn’t get past so I just stopped playing. Really, I think open world games are best on Switch, but most people would probably be turned off of this game because of the strange popup and other weird visual effects. I only experienced FPS drop once in the whole game, surprisingly. A few things I found strange are that corpses will just disappear if you try to pull them out of a car (can’t remember if this was the same in the PS3 version) , and that sometimes things will pop out such as cars. I haven’t experienced bad pop in though. It looked surprisingly good on the handheld screen. This game makes me think for sure that any GTA/older open world city game will run great on this thing. My next games to get are Skyrim and Super Mario Odyssey.

@SuperSpaghetti You’re not alone. I had a blast jumping into SR3 for the second time. Same with ACIII and Black Flag

It’s a real blast of a game and it comes with all the fun DLC weapons and vehicles, plus DLC Missions. If anyone’s looking for something similar to GTA on the Switch I definitely recommend it.

After seeing the image Nintendo released to celebrate the last decade, I was inspired to make my own, which I will post here.

@Matthew010 Interesting infographic, though I feel like some of the best games of the decade are missing there. Kid Icarus, Bayonetta 2, Dragalia Lost, Wonderful 101, and most notably not a single Fire Emblem, Yoshi or Kirby game. Not to mention picking Paper Jam as the M&L rep is... odd to say the least. It's a cool graphic, but I think not limiting / forcing yourself to 3 games per year could have helped you show a greater variety of titles.

@link3710 It was only a quick one - if I'd put more time into it, I'd like to have showcased more variety which is what you are saying. Maybe I should've used another M&L game - Paper Jam isn't the best.

Online reports are stating that the Switch is knocking on the door to 50m after last week's estimated sales numbers. The Switch has unofficially gone past the lifetime sales figures for the SNES and XBone after only 32 months of being on the market.

@Magician Jeez... that puts the Switch as surpassing the 3DS in 2021 at the current rate, and the Wii and PS1 within it's lifetime. Sales will probably end about matching the PS4... That's about as good as it gets. The only things above it would be the blue ocean DS, the console people bought as a DVD player the PS2, and the combined 13 year run of the Gameboy and GBC.
